What Can We Learn From The Hawaii Little League Team?
How many of you follow the Little League baseball season? When you see how hard these 11 and 12-year-olds work just to qualify to play at Williamsport, it shows us how much in common it has in building our affiliate marketing business.
The team from Hawaii has dominated this season. This is not their first and will not be their last. The team comes from Honolulu on the island of Oahu.
Here is a statement from the Oahu Baseball Academy:

What do you think? I'd like to focus on endurance a bit more.
Endurance
Some may wonder what has endurance got to do with building our business. Here are some good reasons. Building endurance requires
- The power to withstand something challenging
- The ability to do something difficult for a long time
- The good sense to reject the temptation to give up
Isn't this what is required to become a superb athlete? Not surprisingly it also is what is required to become a Super Affiliate.
The question is do you have the work ethic and drive to do what is necessary?
I sometimes wonder if I have. When we fall, we always have the option of pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps and following the formula for success taught here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Little League Latest Championship Results
Curacao won the International Championship this Saturday, August 27th by beating Chinese Taipei.
Hawaii won the US Championship also this Saturday, August 27th by beating Tennessee.
The World Championship will be fought this Sunday, August 28th at 3 pm between Hawaii and Curacao.
Who do you think will become the World Champion? I think I can guess which team will win.
My advice is to approach our business like the winning team approaches winning baseball games.

Hi Susan,
Hawaii winning was no surprise. What was a surprise was how easily they won. This meant that the standard of the final was lopsided and low.
I am working hard at endurance. It is a work in progress.

I played little league decades ago.
These young boys are beyond anything I could have done back then.
They are mini replicas of the real thing.
My goodness.
On the smaller field, a pitcher is consistent with a 70 mile an hour fastball or breaking ball.
That is equivalent to a 100 mile per hour on the larger field.
The discipline that they show and the professionalism that they play with is completely "mind boggling."
Your reference to us building our business here is a very good comparison.
I missed the finals but would like to hear from you who won this year rather than google it.

Hello Paul,
I am honored that you commented and asked me to give you the final result. Hawaii won. The score was 13-3 at the bottom of the 4th inning. That ended the game because of the 10-plus differential
Curacao suffered many pitching errors and problems. In one inning they hit the batters five times. Plus that gave away so many walks, This was uncharacteristic of them.
Although Curacao scored the first run in the first inning, their missteps took the wind out of their sales by the third inning when Hawaii hit the ball so many times for base hits and home runs.
At least. they won the International game to become International Champions.
Hawaii was the strongest US team seen in a long time. They earned their victory because of their consistent performance throughout the competition.

I watched the Curacao and Mexico match.
It was good.
Prior to that there was a young man/boy with long hair that pitched for another American team that really caught my attention.
The level of competition that these (children) play at simply amazes me.
So does the level of your writing. Keep up the great work.
I'm looking forward to the NFL. That is the game I enjoy watching most.

The only football game I watch is the Super Bowl. It is the unique excitement of that event that draws my attention. In order of importance are the ads, the halftime show, and finally the game.
SoFi Stadium was the venue for this event this year. Since this stadium is located not far from me and is the newest NFL stadium, it held more significance.
Do you know that the closed translucent ceiling is also a gigantic LED video display? The stadium is located close to LAX so planes taking off and landing at night can see the sports action from their plane windows.
SoFi will be the venue for the opening and closing of the 2028 Olympics. As well as other events like track and field. LA is going to include the Coliseum Stadium that was used for the two prior Olympics, 1932 and 1984 in the opening and closing ceremonies as well.
This will make the Coliseum the only stadium to be used in three Olympic Games. My wife and I attended the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and track and field events at the 1984 Olympics. Quite extraordinary. I'll be 82 then. If still living and in good health. perhaps I will be able to attend that Olympics too!
