One of the questions I have seen asked several times in the forums is, how to find ones website in Google. If you already know this technique, no worries. If you do not, this could be a revelation. This is also a good way to find out if your posts have been indexed.

How The Magic Happens

The first thing to do is to open the Goiogle Search window similar to the above. You can also do this in Bing and Yahoo.

Enter the URL of your website using quotes.

If you are doing this for the first time you will be amazed at what you see in the Google Results. Your home page as well as all your posts that are indexed will show up in your search,

I'd love to hear your reaction on seeing thiis. I learned this technique from Jay Neill in one of his webinars.

Cheers.

Sorry, that went all wrong. Meant to direct that to Edwin, how to find what page on google my page/post that has been ranked is at and how to find it without googling my URL

Use Google Search Console for that. When you are using quotes you are not really entering your URL per se. The reason is it is a query and you are shown a listing of your website home page as well as all the posts, pages as well as pictures etc.

Once you know Google has your page indexed then you can check out on what page they are located using Search Console, Analytics and even using your Keyword in the search window and going through the resultant pages until you find yours.

There is an easier way. If you upgrade Jaaxy, you can use that to find out what page your posts are listed on. The free version only checks if it is on the first page.

Hope this helps.

Edwin

Thanks Edwin. I hope Google console is free. I have a site rubrix site still

All of Google's tools as well as those from Bing are free.

Cheers.

Edwin
