Frustrated!
I really need to make money! I know what you're thinking, "Don't we all?". I'm just really pissed off and need to vent. I'm still in my first month, so I know the money doesn't come quickly. I did sign up for affiliate accounts with amazon and Google. Google shot me down immediately. Amazon let me in. I didn't know it was a trial period. This is what is said:
"In reviewing your website, we noticed that the URL listed on your application is a social network website. However, your site is not an approved social network or established with enough unique content and followers yet. At this time, we are unable to approve your application and have closed the account under which you had been temporarily approved."
I understand why. This is why Google said no. I jumped the gun. BUT what Google did right was not give me an account until they reviewed my status.
Amazon, on the other hand, gave me an account.
I earned my first $1.68 and got extremely excited! So when I got an email saying that my account was closed, it really burst my bubble.
Too fast, too furious!

I wanted to set up Amazon early on but was advised that I needed more content. So I waited. I worked on my content and I'm still working on it. My site has come a long way; but there is still much to improve on. I'm sure that you were able to learn faster than me. It is amazing how fast you have gone through the lessons here. I'm not sure how long you've been here or how much experience you had before you came; but it seems to be the concensus around here that it typically takes takes up to three to six months to start making money. I know that's hard to hear when you need it yesterday. I have had to learn to be patient and have faith that one day my hard work will pay off. And to adjust my thinking from "when do I make money" to "how can I help potential readers". I am currently living off of my inheritance to get through winter and will need a part time job come summer. I'm sorry for your disappointment. Sometimes
reality seems to interfere with our dreams for a time; but if we don't quit it usually comes around to line up with or exceed our expectations.

But you are still smiling! Edward, we started about the same time. You have done far more in that time and have still kept your strength of character. Edison took 10,000 try's before he made a working lightbulb. I have been trying for ten years to learn Portuguese and I still feel like I have learned nothing. From reading your profile I can see you are an exceptional person. You would not be here otherwise. I can tell you will succeed beyond your wildest dreams. You are unique my friend.

I understand how frustrating it is Edwardtrave1, I really do. Currently, I'm in so much debt that my credit cards are keeping the food on the table. It's a scary position to be in, and when things go wrong it makes it feel like your situation is hopeless.
I been denied by Amazon because of where I live, and Google has yet to approve me....
Your situation is not hopeless! I have faith in this company, and I haven't even been here for a month! For some reason I feel that success can be achieved, but I also know it takes hard work. Like when you try to get the meat from a walnut seed, for some reason to me the walnut tastes so much more better when you work for it.
And when you do reach that achievement, Edward, it will feel so much more sweeter. Hang in there.

I am not sure that I can help you as much but within the month have you already gone through all the lessons and courses. There is a lot to do with each and every course and each lesson included in the course. I have been working as much as possible and only finishing up the second course now. I am surprised people are already making some money even if its very little. Do you think maybe slowing down and completing each and every step will ensure your content, site, uniqueness, and more would then ensure things like this don't happen? Have you skipped steps or do you just have more time than me and have moved through your website development that quickly? There is quite a bit and even for me with time each day I am working to ensure each and every lesson what is asked we do has been done. Again I am fairly new as well but each and everything has worked with me by following the steps very carefully and not rushing to get the first penny in the door.
