I am wondering if anyone knows why some of my pages and post show a title in the SEO Title and others do not. I have filled in a title for each page and post, I have 160 chara

Hey Jason,

No in my WordPress Back Office I have all my post in my post page and I also have my Website pages. When I click to see all the post for either I can see the Title, Author, Number of Comments, Date, SEO Title, SEO Description, SEO key Words. I have made sure place SEO titles, descriptions and key words for each page after noticing that I had not done this with each. When I go to the actual page and edit it shows them below where you write your page. They all have data in them. When I go to the page that shows all the pages created or the post many of them don't have the SEO title but have the SEO description and Keywords.
I am not sure why it's not showing or what I should do. Is the SEO title important. I would think it would be as it contains my Low Hanging Fruit titles and Jaaxy or Keword Tool topic selections pertaining to my post/page.

Mario

Yes it's actually recommended that you enter your SEO title and description manually.

Are you using All In One SEO or Yoast?

Are these SEO titles not appearing in Google or where?

Hello all I am on course 3 lesson 3, and having some issues. I noticed that the videos sometimes seem to not do the same thing as my current pages in the back office.

When you're logged into the Amazon storefront for example amazon.com is there a banner at the very top called Amazon Associates Site Stripe? You can click on the "text" button and it will give you the short link.

I have been working on my site for just under a month. I have not been able to get photos I would like specific to my topic my home page. Any help would be much appreciated.

Mario, it will all come together when you create some posts and add a featured image to each post.

MarionBlack,
Thanks I have added a blog selected a different theme as I had originally selected a blog theme which is not as much how I want my site to flow. I have now posted a blog and see this is coming together. I just submitted for a reiview and did not want it wasted by someone stating my front page was "dull". Thanks so much to everyone here and the support this community offers. I can see why so many people are successful. Much appreciated. Sometimes rather than getting overwhelmed just gotta step back and take a breather.
Mario

Sorry there has been confusion with my question it appears. I am wanting to get photos I have selected on my homepage but cannot figure this out. I have already added photos to my pages just nothing to my homepage what actually pulls up when you go to my page online

I'm sorry. I'm not confused by what you're trying to do, but if you're not going to do the things I ask even if you don't know why I'm asking them then I can't help you figure out a solution. There's only so much I can do.

I know I can post a blog and add a photo im sure but what about backgrounds. You know when you go to a website and see someone has photos relevant to their page but then there may be blog boxes or other inserts of info. How can I find your page so I can look at it and explain by what your site look like.

Good Health is my theme and I have pages I have worked on but no blogs or anything of that nature yet. Just pages my homepage, two other pages, review and privacy and policy. I only have pages from what I no.

Mario

OK. Go to posts and see if the Hello World post that comes with the install is in there and live.

If it's not there. Create one, publish it, and see if it shows up on your homepage

Sorry, let me slow down. When I work on my site I can insert photos anywhere with the image insert. On my homepage I have not gotten to the stage where I have gone over this in the certification or if I missed it need to go back to it. I want to add some life to my home page and insert pictures or a background photo. When I tried to insert a photo I cannot remember where it was a full page background photo. I then noticed it was on each page though I just wanted it on the homepage. I cannot find a place where I insert the photo if I want to add life to my dull homepage which has no content at the moment. Would I do that when I start to blog by inserting a photo on the blog? What about the background. I have reviewed 2 websites and see they have all kinds of images and almost wall paper on their sites broken up in sections. Have I just jumped the gun and need to wait for my review and the next steps. I am at course 2 lesson 3 right now.

Here's why I asked what theme you were using. They're all programmed to do things differently. So if I know what theme you're using, I can look at the way it's programmed and tell you why it is doing what it is doing. And I'm guessing you haven't missed it in the training, because since themes vary so much it's not something that's necessarily covered.

Also, have you been creating posts or those all pages? If you're theme is using a blogroll as the homepage, you won't see anything if you don't have any posts. You can check by clicking on the Posts tab in your dashboard. If you have posts, then it's something else and we can get to the bottom of that.

Basically there are several different things at play here so I have to ask about them to sort out which is causing your problem.

I have been able to post photos to my other pages but not the homepage. When I do a homepage one its the entire page and a background photo but it also appears on each page I have created.
Mario

What theme are you using and when you say you "do a homepage one" what exactly does that mean? You set a featured image for your homepage or you put in the text editor or something else.

Thanks, I posted it because I saw others have when asking a questions to so people could see what is going on. Thanks for the tip. I just am confused and as a reply to one person I noticed the person went to their site and was able to tell them what they needed to do.
Mario

No worries. Usually I just tell people to PM me the link. Most people miss the rules and do things that don't really follow them. It happens. I just try to give people a heads up so they don't get flagged as spam.

So first not really supposed to post links to your website in your blog posts. As to your problem, are you asking where to find images that you can use for your website or how to add images you have to your homepage?
