How To Make 2014 Your Best Year Yet!

I'm going into the new year with a great attitude and want to share some of the things I'll be doing!

1. Get Balanced.

When you're doing something you love like working on your budding IM career it's easy to become consumed by it that you forget that the one of the reasons you jumped into this industry is to give yourself more freedom.

So be sure you're balancing out the work you do in your business with other important things in your life like family, health, spirituality, etc. Without balance you can become burned out and what good will that do in 2014?

2. Leverage Others.

Being here at WA is great because of the wonderful community we have here. But if you've joined WA and haven't created a blog post, use the live chat or private messaged others with your questions or concerns then you're not getting the full benefit of your membership.

Why struggle or try to do everything on your own when there are others here that have already gone through what you may be struggling with? And don't just contact the person that recruited you, take full advantage of everyone here so you can get some different perspectives and possibly faster assistance if they can't respond to you right away.

Furthermore if there people outside of WA doing what you want to do, reach out to them as well. Try to build a relationship where you can learn more from them but be willing to give in return. No one likes someone that just leeches off them. It should be a two way street.

3. Don't Stop.

In the "great" words of "P-Diddy" or "Puffy" as I like to remember him. "Don't stop, Can't stop, Won't stop!" Puffy use to randomly say this on his songs back in the day when he was actually making music. Basically it was a reference to his work ethic.

At the time his record label "Bad Boy" was unstoppable and creating hits after hits. And "haters" kept waiting for them to fail. But Puffy would always remind them that he wouldn't stop and couldn't stop. He basically kept that promise. Bad Boy had a long reign but eventually did fall off. But Puffy re-invited himself and his business.

He ventured into other lucrative endeavors based on the brand he created for himself and what he learned in the entertainment industry. Why should you care? Well you need to be able to do that in your business as well. If you hit a road block, don't stop. Remind yourself why you're in this business because that's the reason you can't stop. So don't stop your pursuit of your goals for 2014 and beyond. Feel free to adjust and re-invite yourself!

But don't ever stop believing and taking action towards your goals!

Hope this helps! Let me know your thoughts below or chime in with some of your own suggestions for 2014 and beyond!

Eddy

That's a great read for sure...thanks for parking it neatly and ready for digestion

You're very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it that bit size bit of goodness. LOL

Sean Combs definitely reinvented himself. Shawn Carter and Curtis Jackson also reinvented their businesses. Good advice as usual.

Agreed! Jay is one I can really relate to and aspire to be like from a business perspective. It should be interesting to see which one of the Shawns will hit the billionaire mark. I think 50 is done. He was very blessed with the vitamin water deal. But other than that he has re-invented himself yet. Either way thanks for chiming in.

Great info thanks

Glad you liked it Crystal!
