My First YouTube Video is Live !
Wow, I'm feeling accomplished !
What an epic movie making experience this has been..

I have been in the movie industry as part of a feature film crew but am a total novice in the self produced world of YouTube. After many days and late nights of toiling, today I called it a wrap and posted my first YouTube video and it is now live.
The Plot
This project is a tutorial for a product on my site and was intended as a solution to a limitation of the product, and hopefully helps others who may see this limitation as a deal breaker.
It took me 2 weeks to complete this task and I have learnt so much that I'm not sure how I carried it around in my head, but I think I have really turned a corner.
The Goal
The goal was to enhance my brand and step up my ad campaign to reach my audience through affiliate marketing, using the YouTube video as a spring board.
I Taught myself:
- Shooting video on a webcam
- Editing & synching audio
- Uploading and encoding video
- Rogue presenting
- Tagging
- Audience targeting
- How to monetize my content
- linking back to my website to drive traffic
- Offering quality content
Goals Achieved
- I forged an affiliate relationship with the company of the product who were very receptive
- My negotiations with the company proved successful
- I made it to the finish line
