is copying and pasting images and links illegal?
You need permission unless they are "free." If a photo is on another site, you can link to it on your page, but if you want to put it on your page, that's when you need permission.
You have to go to the photographer of the photo or author of the piece. There are many free sites available to get photos from, though. I found this in the files. You can search out any type of help in the box at the top of the page. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wcooper/blog/photo-sources

I was taught that you can snip You Tube videos that have an embed code. You can also embed the entire video. Links to other things are okay. For instance, if you have a link to someone's story, you can post that, but you can't post the actual story on your site.
Thank you! The embed code makes sense because you can stop people from doing that when you upload to youtube.
A lot of the clips from current movies and such don't have an embed code in them. I know people still snip, but you're skirting the legalities with that.

time is not on my side with a large family, so I need help with getting started more quickly without getting confused on building my website and becoming an affiliate?

There are lots of people here myself included that can and will help you - but. It is a big BUT you need to understand the process yourself, you need to be able to feel it, without that your chances of connecting to your prospective customers are not great.
We have all been through or are going through the learning curve, it's tough and frustrating but necessary.
Take a deep breathe and see if you are clear what your objectives are and who your target audience are, until you know that you will not be able to progress. Do it bit and bit and then ask your questions as they come up. We all feel your pain because we have all gone through it
Thank you for your help, I am doing the boot camp class now and understanding that there is a lot to learn before I can get my website up and running efficiently. I see that it is a long road ahead but will pay off in the long run! Great advice!

Sorry to hear about your situation. There are a lot of people in the same boat.
However, WA is not going to be a place that's going to help you make money fast. It's a system designed up build a long term sustainable online business.
And by long term, I mean it's going to take time, which is something I understand you don't have.
I would suggest you start by clicking the black "Affiliate bootcamp" button to your left and go through the 10 free lessons it gives you. By the end of course 1, you should have a better idea if this is going to work for you or not.

Thank you Jimmy I understand it will take time it has become a little overwhelming with the website build, I am learning as I go I just want to make sure that I do it correctly.
You need to follow the lessons one by one. They build on each other. Without a half-decent site you won't get accepted. You need to show them some content plus other ads on your site help. You really can't shortcut it unless you already know how to build a site. Good Luck!
Hi Diana. I feel so sorry for you. Having a large family to take care of does make it harder to combine with WA, however there are so many of us willing to help you with whatever you need. The best way to start is to just follow through all of the lessons and watch all the videos. They are very clear and you can follow the steps very easily, too.
What exactly do you feel confused about at this point?
There's a lot of widgets and gadgets for that I'm not sure what they do or where they go until I put something there and then view my website
Widgets have all sorts of functionalities to them. You can use them to display affiliate banners, you can use them to display google adsense ads, you name it. When you're ready to promote affiliate offers you can simply copy and paste the code they give you into such a widget.
For your website you would only need a categories widget to display all categories that you have added to your blog posts. You would need a search bar for people to search for information on your website. All other widgets seem optional to me.

You will have to work more on your own, but yes it is possible to make money without upgrading.
But also consider the advantages of upgrading - a small investment into the WA can bring huge returns for you and your business.
Thank you for your help, I will definitely upgrade in the future, right now I don't have the money to be able to do so, but I am very excited to get my business started and on my way to financial freedom!!
To be perfectly honest, I don't know for a fact but. . . I'd say the answer is yes. Kyle has mentioned several times that siterubix sites DO rank quite well on Google. Good Luck!
