Bootcamp may have been a mistake
Hi Folks
I've hit on a bit of a stumbling block. I have realized that I may have gone down the bootcamp route in error. When I started WA, I knew that I had a niche that would work on it's own but wanted to promote WA as well. I'm worried that by going down the bootcamp route, I am missing out on opportunities for my site, that could be offered in the standard affiliate training.
Ok, so the options are:-
1. Quit bootcamp and start over with the other training.
2. Finish bootcamp and start over with the other training as well.
3. Carry on with boootcamp and get any extra training I need to fill the gaps?
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks Folks
Kind Regards
Doug

Hi, taking both doesn't seem likes bad idea though I know from experience it can seem quite time consuming... If this is your major worry then consider which niche you enjoy working in more and stick with that one for now.
TAKE BOTH BOOTCAMPS!!!!! Take both bootcamps like I'm doing. Have one website to affiliate promote WA and the other website to promote your chosen niche(s). Seriously, take BOTH bootcamps and parallel your websites.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you except the other way around. I wish I would have started the boot camp first instead I started other training. I have 2 websites up...One is complete other is taking forever because I have so many menus. I just started boot camp yesterday, and have kind put the big website on hold. I hope that's not going to hurt it. But I really want to get the website up promoting WA. Good luck!
Doug,
Its a tough decision I must admit.
But look at it this way;
- Find where the potential money is and follow it tenaciously.
- The passion in you right now can be your driving force.
- Always ask for help just like you doing right now.
Doug,
I can also understand what you are feeling. I started with a niche site and, several times have questioned myself about not starting with bootcamp first.
At this point, I have finished the niche based training and I will probably be moving over to bootcamp but, I will still be working on my niche site as well.
I understand what you are struggling with, I have done the getting started 3 times before going into the bootcamp. And I still have some issues in bootcamp which I get stuck on.
You can also do the getting started with both sites, your niche and the one you have for bootcamp. In the getting started course all goes a bit slower.
Thanks Loes. I did think in the back of my mind that this would happen. To be fair to the training though, the bootcamp training has inspired me to look for ways in which I can get more money from the niche as opposed to WA. The problem I am having is I have not had any training on how to look for affiliate programs. I am guessing it's not needed in the bootcamp training, so it won't happen there!
Hi Doug. This is a tough question. I would probably consider putting my WA site on the backburner for the time being and starting the site you sound more passionate about. You can always come back to your WA site, but maybe it is time to try what you wanted to do in the beginning. Just my two cents worth. :)
Bootcamp teaches you a different approach for your site. If you can manage two trains of thought at the same time in regards to your site then studying both lesson sets will benefit you. Bootcamp walks you through training related to promoting an affiliate program in a certain niche, it's lessons can be applied indirectly to any affiliate program though.
thanks. I really want to add some affiliate links that relate to my subject matter, but don't know if I should at this stage. Amazon etc. Is this covered in bootcamp or the standard training?
It's covered in depth in the standard training how to locate affiliate programs related to your niche.

Do both and finish. No WA training will be wasted as they are all about setting up your websites and filling with good contents. Take your time or do it faster, your own ability will tell you what to do.
Blessings in all your ways.......
