you should be able to set this on a post by post basis
at the bottom of the post is the seo section ...and a social tab
if you click on this and leave the desription blank or just add a few spaces tehn lower down is a debug button to show you what it will look like before you post it.
try this out and play with it til lyou get it how you want it.
but posts with a description do get more inteaction....

Hi Phil, thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that I actually did do that but it didn't work. Even debugged it. I'll try the few spaces. The reason I don't want the description is it only shows the first half or so of the first sentence of it. It doesn't look bad, though. I just noticed most articles, that's the style I set, don't have descriptions in the previews.

Wordpress has trivia plugins that you can use, personally I have not tried them because I have not had a use for them. You can go ahead and try them.

I found the answer. Turns out there are plugins available for this. I don't know why they didn't show up the first time I searched, but I'm glad they exist. Love your WA username :) Always nice to come across a fellow New Yorker. I'm on Long Island.

It's called "Facebook comments WordPress". It's by wpdevart. When you get it, go to FB and follow the instructions to create an app id. That's important for the plugin to work.

I have a few websites that I am no longer operating. I see that they are still in my list of domains. Whenever I delete them, they always return once I come back to the list. I
If they are top level domains (dot com) and the nameservers are pointed to WA then they will stay there until you either change the DNS or the domain name registration runs out. You can use them for practice websites to test themes and plugins so you don't break your real website.
Do you mean the list of sites here at WA on your profile?.... If so, click on the 'manage my sites' tab at the bottom of your list of sites on your profile page, click on the red 'X' beside the site/s you want to delete, then click 'save'.
If you mean something else, then can you elaborate please?
Are these siterubix subdomain sites? If so, I'd suggest opening a support ticket to get the eliminated. If they're personally-owned domains, I'm not sure how you'd get rid of them if they're coming back.
They are all personally owned. I guess I won't be able to get rid of them. But thanks for the quick reply.
