For the last few days I have been attempting to create a number of blogs and am experiencing more often than not, that the article designer create feature keeps saying "retry"
Hi Diana! I've experienced this as well, and have seen others post about it. I think it happens when a lot of people are all trying to generate articles at the same time (just a guess!). I usually hit Retry and then it works. I'd suggest submitting a SiteSupport ticket (under the Help menu), if it's happening frequently for you. There might be a bigger issue going on.
Thank you MaudMan - yes it's been happening alot lately but today everything has been working okay, just must have been a temporary glitch or I'm publishing too much content haha

Why does article designer in my hub keep crashing?

That happened to me, too. I clicked retry, and it was fine :) No issues there
You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh, and try again. You can also try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.

Am up to phase 4 of Kyle's training and he shows how to access the WA affiliate disclosure template which was located in his writing TO DO tasks, but it's not in mine and I won
It should be clearly visible in the primary menu. Disclosure is typically a page.
You also need a shorter disclosure as close as possible to the first affiliate link in a post, either above or below the link.
For Amazon, it has to say "as an Amazon Associate I may earn from qualified purchases" and this has to be directly above your first Amazon link in post.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/content/templates
You can find it in your hubs is is not a WA disclosure but one you would use in general here is Kyle's link about it Using Affiliate Links & Disclaimers
Thanks a million again Andre! What are you doing online in your weekend, lol, you should be out enjoying the beautiful warm Aussie weather (it's sunny but very cold winter day here).
Yeah it is sunny here for now but expecting more rain soon and also cold a bit. So I normally am home online or doing other areas either around the home or researching.
Enjoy your day and stay warm

my instagram feed is full of affiliate marketing reels and 7 sec ads where they claim its easy to make money on instagram or tik tok by posting stories/reels/7 second adverts d
You have FANTASTIC responses here. WA depends on applying what you learn daily and trying to understand and implement it. The more you put in, the more you get out.
The sky's the limit regarding how much you want to scale your businesses.
Hi The Abie
I will probably need a bit of guidance on achieving my goals via this website and will need to probably upgrade to Premium and if successful, can hopefully upgrade to PremiumPlus.
Someone said if I needed mentoring to reach out to the person who introduced me to WA, but I found it on my own, I didn't go through any influencers, so I don't have a mentor to guide me, but hopefully all the online training videos will help me in that regard. :)
Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate you have found a fantastic platform to grow a business.
WA is an affiliate program and is how they grow their platform and you can grow a business, but it isn't just about the WA affiliate program.
I joined in 2020 simply as it offered a place to host my websites. Yes, I promote WA on one or two websites but my business is focused on investing so I run several different websites for each investment niche. The point I'm trying to make is you can build a website for any niche you want.
To answer your question about the difference between WA and Instagram. WA is the website, hosting, workhorse for your website. Instagram is a tool for driving traffic to your website.
Sales come through your website, instragram (and other social media platforms) drive traffic to the website.
The added benefits of WA is community, probably the best one I know, but more importantly the training which will teach you all the tricks of the trade for growing an online business.
Just work through the training in your hub and you'll have a healthy growing business that is scaled up as your knowledge grows.
Hi Newydd105
Thanks for explaining that, that is really helpful.
I only heard of WA today and I must admit my head is in a bit of a spin this week as I have been researching niches, affiliate marketing, have a doz or so people wanting to sell me their "secrets" (courses) on how to earn $$$$ per month. Much of it sounds too good to be true.
I have run an online gift store prior to covid and that was fun and I loved meeting people, but covid killed my business. Now I am looking after elderly family with dementia so while I have worked full time most of my life, I need the freedom to work from home and run around after my elderly fam. That, plus I really desire to share any success I might have with affiliate marketing with other family and friends who are doing it tough, living pay check to pay check. I just want to see people thriving and not just surviving, stressed out and exhausted.
Hey Diana, welcome to WA.
I've been a part of this platform since September 2023.
Many people will hype up Wealthy Affiliate for its training, expert classes, or perhaps the AI article designer, but personally, I would say that the biggest upside of Wealthy Affiliate is the community.
Being immersed in a platform with many like-minded people is a great propellant. You can learn something new every day.
When I first started out, I just followed the training, and all I had was a niche website about chess, one of my favourite hobbies.
I knew nothing about search engine results, social media marketing, email marketing, or any of that. I just followed the training bit by bit.
With time, I started growing my business gradually. I asked many questions, and kept an eye on the Live Chat for useful insights from more experienced members.
Eight months later, I had around 70 articles on my website, a Facebook page, an Instagram page, a Pinterest page, a YouTube channel, a Quora account, and I also wrote many blog posts on external platforms like Medium in hopes of promoting my website.
I also began writing an Ebook, but I didn't complete it, because I stopped working on my business around a month ago.
I ended up ditching it all because I opted for a niche change — but it wasn't all for nothing. Although I only made around $40 in total, I learned many transferrable skills that I will now use in my new website.
My advice for you is not to worry about everything all at once. Don't spread yourself too thin. Take it step by step and the small progress you make every day will add up before you even know it. Time goes by fast.
The last thing I want to tell you is that this business model takes time. In usual cases, you cannot expect to start making even $1000/month within the first 6 months. If you're looking for something fast, then let me save you the trouble and tell you this isn't for you.
If you have any questions along the way, feel free to reach out to me. Send a private message or leave me a comment on my profile. I'd be glad to help.
Hi YusufKY
Thanks for your detailed answer, I really appreciate it.
Wow, you got traction fast doing all those channels, youtube, FB, Insta, Pinterest, Quora etc. Great advice you have given me and I hope your new niche goes really well for you!
I am aiming high but do realise it takes time to generate interest and ultimately sales, but am committed to learning all of this as I do a lot of my shopping online and the younger generation are totally addicted to it. My son says, he would rather be in bed surfing the net inn the middle of the night, buying things online rather than contending with driving to a shop, dealing with carparking and grumpy sales people or queues or finding the product out of stock etc.
Thanks for your help. I do realise I will probably need to upgrade to Premium or Premium Plus to get the full benefits of this site.
