So I done a video showing people all the various ways you can legitimately make money online. The thing is some body reported it as inappropriate? Don't ask me how but you tube actually agreed and took it down giving me a warning that they will shut my channel down if I get reported anymore

This has upset me because not only is it not inappropriate but I feel like some body done it out of spite or jelousy or some thing like that.

Sometimes I just dont like the way us people act and treat each other.

Has anybody else had issues with their video content being flagged??

I wasn't even promoting anything just showing people their options.

This showed up on my phone as djdavy blogged inappropriate content on YouTube! lol !!!! I am chuckling about that one !
Seriously though! I am so sorry! Can't you contact Youtube and appeal it? I hope so.. Let us know how we can help!

LOL that is funny, I did think to myself maybe I should of named it something else

Yes, the very first tarot video I put up was immediately flagged and removed for sexual content. In my case, I guess it was legit as the tarot deck I use is called "Sexual Magic" and the cards are nearly pornographic. I only flashed one card in my video for about 5 seconds, but that was enough to get it removed.

lol

I go with DavidSweney. He has your back on this.

Create your own channel.

I have seen thing on youtube that should be XXXXX rated.

so, if you are promoting sales of good items and WA....??

I don't know .

It is good to always remember that ninety percent of people
are good and decent so don't let the ten percent
bother you.
Keep moving forward my friend

Martin

sometimes I really wonder if its the other way around, these days the good , genuine people seem to be the minority

This has happened before to other members, a simple appeal reversed the decision give that a try.

yes I have done and I contacted them with a long letter of disapproval lol

Hi M8!

A word of advice - I would separate my video posts on You Tube to place them to different channels - Adding a channel takes 5 minutes to set up (but will save you lots of work later if something happens if you are falsely accused of something and taken down)...

This way, if you do get banned/taken down for any reason, you will not lose everything you have posted overall, only the videos you have posted to a particular channel...This seems like a good thing? Does to me!

Note the action you experienced will happen from time to time for whatever reason (videos removes, warnings, 3 warnings, and getting banned). Many competitors just are not willing to play white hat, and prefer to use ulterior means to chop your comms channel/videos!

It seems that YouTube is very willing/quick to paint people/channels as bad video posters! In any case, I hope that you have a copy of whatever was taken down...You can always edit it a bit and start again, using another channel...

Just rememeber to try to keep each campaign you develop separate so you do not get taken down completely for all your video effort!

NOTE: The assumption here is that WE all operate in a white hat manner, meaning we do not intentionally subvert others (even if they do it to us), practice plagiarism ..etc..These people do not....

Cheers!
Dave

good advice I will set up another channel

Excellent advice Dave!

That is odd to be sure. Hard to believe they would flag your video after seeing some of the absolute crap on Youtube.

Tell me about it, my video's are not gold by any stretch of the imagination but they are certainly not inappropriate

Well I wouldn't jump to conclusions as it will only bring on irrational thinking. You cannot be sure who or why someone reported you.

I would contact YouTube, nicely, and ask them for their specific reason for removing your video and the portion of the YouTube policy that your video had broken. Of course letting them know that your intent is not malicious and you wish to be in full compliance.

I have not personally had an issue with YouTube content though I've heard from others who have.

I wish you well. keep your head in the game and proceed gently, I am certain you'll get are solution to the matter.

ROCK ON!
E

thanks for your advice, I have already contacted them so I am waiting for reply , just can't see how any of that content is inappropriate which is why I find it hard to accept any genuine reason to flag it as such

Different strokes for different folks ... what you think is appropriate another may not. Too much damned PC in this world. The big thing is to get them to compare it to their policies. If not were broken you're good to go.

I don't think it's right they charge guilty and take down your video before looking at both sides first though. That's just rotten business.

Never had that issue. But you know how other perceive something that may not be what they think. That's life my friend. You won't believe how are it is to market by prosportsgamblers.com site on Bing.

yes I can imagine as I find it difficult enough as it is to advertise my website, usually have to get them to re enable my site after suspending it for site policy violations
