There are many things that rich, successful people do that poor, unsuccessful people don't do. One of these is something that you can do from now on.
Finish what you start!
There are two ways that successful people do this:

1) Complete what you started until there is nothing left to complete.
2) End what you started because it is not benefiting you.
A lot of people are guilty of starting something and then saying to themselves a short while down the road "I'll come back to that later", and then never do. What they end up with are a number of started books, personal projects and courses,etc, that are left in limbo; hanging around the background cluttering up their life.
Successful people start a book and finish it (generally) BEFORE they start another one. They have this habit for everything they do.
If a successful person starts something (say a book) and finds that it is not interesting for them, then they will FINISH it by stop reading it and removing the book from their life; giving it away or throwing it in the bin. If they started a course (e.g. learning French) and they find that it's just not sinking in, then rather that wasting their time and adding stress to their life they will FINISH it. They will un-register themselves from the course and continue on with their life not thinking about French anymore.
So the bottom line is what you start make sure you FINISH it.
