My First Earnings with Medium

So, I wasn't sure as to whether I should ever mention the word Medium again, after all the recent controversy of my last post on the subject!
However, this is just a quick chat to show you how quickly you can start earning on Medium.com.
However, it does require some consistent work.
I joined the Partner Program on January 17, nine days ago.
Since then I have published 16 posts, all new and not related to any of my websites.
And today, my first earnings were credited to my account.
Here are my stats and earnings.

Admittedly, it's not going to buy me a glass of wine, but it's nice to see that it works!

The disclaimer helps! I'm glad you didn't retreat and proceeded to talk about Medium. Great that's what I wanted to see. So see I knew you could do it. Nothing to fear. I'm glad you're back to writing now.
I am wondering if you are able to keep track on commissions earned from your actual website that originated in a read from medium
I am not sure if that is possible, but you can certainly see the traffic to your site from Medium, in Google Analytics.

If I subscribe to medium do i automatically join the partnership program or is that something extra? Is there an additional fed to join?
Hi - you need to be a paid member to join the Partner Program at a cost of $5 per month or $50 per year.

So I became a member of Medium. So now I’m a member can I automatically write content on Medium and get paid when people read them? Or do I need to sign up for any extra things there? You mentioned something about a partnership program. Is this an addition to being a member? Does it cost extra to join?
Once you have uploaded your first post on medium then you can apply to join the Partner Program for free. Thereafter you will be able to earn from your future posts if you put them behind the paywall. (Meaning only paid members can read your posts but this is where you earn.)

Hi - did you join the paid membership?
That's the only way to be monetized.
Then, as Danny has explained, you apply to join the Partner Program.
