So, if you have experienced any problems over the last couple of days, as regards indexing or posts being de-indexed or your rank dropping, it may have been due to a fire at one of Google's data centers.
An electrical incident took place at Council Bluffs, Iowa and unfortunately, three people were injured.
This caused a data outage at Google, leading to many problems.
This has now been fixed, but if you check your analytics and they show unexpected results for the last two days, then this is the reason why, and it's nothing to worry about.
