Keeping Busy!
I'm Keeping Busy!
Sometimes I feel a bit like that image. Not in a bad way, necessarily. Just focused and busy.
I haven't been interacting as much lately with friends on WA. I needed to focus on improving my social media skills and get some additional site work done. Although the numbers don't show a problem, I just felt like I was not where I wanted to be, accomplishment-wise.
I'm still not, but I am getting closer.
Of course, life isn't just affiliate marketing and writing. I still have family, furkids, and my special furkid- Fire.
I haven't updated on Fire lately, mainly because there isn't much new to say. The first chemo treatments did not shrink the tumor. We are now trying a different one.
As you can see from the photo, Josh still helps keep her well cared for. All of our kids do. She's pretty special!
And, as always, I'm continuing to research natural treatments and using what I can to help her. We started the body massages. She loves them! Strange to massage a dog? Not really. In fact, some people make a living from animal massage. In Fire's case, the hope is that it will improve her circulation and her lymphatic system.
I'm also doing near-infrared treatments with her. Some studies show success in humans and dogs with lung cancer. It's worth a try.
Website work continues
But I've also spent many hours reorganizing my website schedule, conquering social media (well, working on it, anyway) and writing. My sites are doing well, but as one of my favorite sayings goes, "Good enough is NOT good enough." I'm always working toward better. And that pleases the perfectionist in me.
So, I am still here, even if I seem to be missing at times. My priorities need to adjust with the times. Sometimes I'm more on WA than other times, but know that I am always here to answer questions and help where needed. My response time might not always be quick, but I do make it happen when possible.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sorry to hear about the health of your dog, just as in humans the same as in animals love conquers all.
Good to hear from you Diane, I'm sorry to hear that there has been no progress in treating young Fire, but it pleases me greatly that she is still hanging in there.
Wishing you and all the family well, and enjoy a great weekend my friend:-)
Thank you, Nick. Fire and I are still determined, so certainly not giving up!
Have a wonderful weekend!

She seems to be hanging in there, Diane. How old is Fire in dog bee--oops--years?
Fire turned 11 just before she was diagnosed. She's always been quite healthy, although cataracts took her sight about a year ago. Still hoping for our miracle to give us a few more years together!
🙏🙏🙏 more prayers to add, Diane!
