CC0 images can WA members upload to Site content?
Images are a big part of what we are trying to accomplish here at WA and online. The site content has over 1,000,000 images and is a really great resource. Many WA members have expressed a desire to increase the number of images available to help them with their business.
My thought would be to add images from the WA community that are CC0, or no copyright that WA members have on their machines. I would be willing to co-ordinate this if allowed.
Myself I have thousands of photographs that were take by me and I can share. I would bet that others have similar amounts. Some co-ordination and selection would need to be done, but, in theory we could add a lot of content in a short period of time.
However there would be a fixed cost to hosting the images, so I will check first with Kyle and Carson.
Would anybody in the community be interested in sharing their images in a program like this to put what is available on site content?

I have uploaded some of my photos to pixabay.com. They're already geared up to cater for this. Then they get shared to an even wider audience.

An interesting concept, something which is "owned" by the members, or "allowed" for use by others perhaps?
However, I would have thought that each and every image has copyright attached to it, even those quick shots that everyone takes (ie selfies) has copyright attached.
I am far from an expert on this issue, so my comments are made based on what I think is right, which is not necessarily the case.
My understanding is if the image is designated CC0 then there are no issues, and it can be used for anything.
