My Blog Post Moved to Position 4 on Page 1 of Google
Hello fellow Bloggers and Affiliates!
Sometimes making some adjustments to existing articles can really boost it in terms of ranking.
I had a review post which made it to page 1 of Google but it was in position 7. I then made some adjustments to the post.
Later, I checked again to discover that it was now in position 4, getting closer to the very top.
When the full keyword is typed in, yeah, sure, it will be in position 1 but no one would type in the exact/full keyword. Rather, they will most likely type in the name of the product followed by the word 'review(s).'
It's never a good idea to get too caught up in where you rank, but I thought to myself: if you do get one post that does well, you can then take note and follow a similar porcedure with your future articles: what on-page and off-page SEO tactics were used? Did I have internal links to both my own site and other sources, such as authority sites?
Did I use good, relevant imagery with alt text, etc? Did it include a video? And so on.
Now I can model posts on the leading one so to speak, and try to improve on it with each new peice of content.

Congrats, well done. Small adjustments can make big difference. When I search for a product I often use the same phrase as you said, product+ review. But I also search for phrases like; is product xxxx recommended or what are the drawbacks of product xxxx.
What adjustments did you make to the review? Could be cool if made a short tutorial on what you did 🤓.

Oh, that's actually an idea! Maybe a small video tutorial for WA members. Also, I looked again and the post is now in position 3! Not 4.
