Productivity Tip - Zoom in for tired eyes

Dear Friends!

Here is another simple tip. This one is sure to rest your tired eyes when working with your browser for a while. Turn your eyes into a magnifying glass on steroids.

There are several ways to do this but we will be using a keyboard shortcut for this one. It's faster:).

In browser

Hold down the Ctrl key and press the + sign to zoom in.

This will make everything bigger for your viewing comfort. Now don't over do it. Your eyesight is not that bad.

To reduce the size to 100% ( normal) use ctrl with 0 (zero)

Ctrl with - (minus) for zooming out

Demo below: Normal to Zoom

Thank you David. I have used another magnifying method. But this is so much easier.

Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks, James!. Hope you didn't use an actual magnifying glass...lol. I know you didn't but I couldn't resist.

All the best!

David

I didn't realize that I always use the zoom button at the top in my search bar

Same results, Melissa. Just took a short-cut. :)
Hope you are progressing well.

All the best!
David

I never connected on this. Thank you David. Most valuable help! I know it's not really that important at least not to me now, but I will celebrate when you move up 6 rooms in hotel WA!

Thanks David, That´s a really useful tip. I use a small screen which is tiring on the eyes. Best Alan

Now zoom away!

You are welcome as usual, Dennis!

Thanks for this tip, David! I dio this all the time but with the browser options at the top right hand side of my browser, which takes several clicks to accomplish. Love shortcuts!

All the best to you,
~Bob

Yes, Bob. As writers, our hands are already there on the keyboard/pad so why bring the mouse into the conversation?:))

All the best!
David

Thanks Dave, something else I have learnt today :-)

Glad to be of help. Sometimes these simple things we take for granted and assume everyone knows about them.

To your success!

David
