$1,440 gift
Wow, I was taken aback when I was told I was to be given $1,440 every day for the rest of my life. I quickly figured the amount, thinking I would live another 20 years at least. That will amount to $10,512,000. WOW times WOW. I called my son and daughter to tell them. I told the grand kids to be thinking what they want that the lack of money might be holding them back from. I grabbed Liz and swung her around like we were 25 again!
Then my benefactor tapped me on the shoulder and said I might have misunderstood. I get the $1,440 every day starting at 12:01 a.m., but it all has to be spent by 11:59 p.m. At midnight I’ll get another $1,440. Well, that changes things a little, but that’s still $10,080 every week. Another thing I failed to hear in my excitement was that I can’t lend or give any of it to anyone else to spend, I have to spend it all. I can’t save any of it and I can’t borrow from tomorrow. I have to spend every last bit of it in 24 hours. Hmmm, that does change things some. Then He said, “And I didn’t say it was dollars. You heard dollars, the gift is minutes”.
You, my friend, get the same deal. How will you spend yours? I know my calendar budget needs some work.
I want to thank WAer, Steve Cox, for his timely blog on 10/23/16 at about 8:00 a.m. Then incredibly my Pastor preached the above in sermon form at our 9 a.m. service that same morning. Message received !!

Great, I once did the game, 1st day spent $1000 on paper, second day $2000 3rd day 3000 and so on, I stranded on the 16th day, I couldn't come up with anything anymore...
