Yay! I got another badge added to my Accomplishment's Profile
I was surprised to see a congratulatory pop-up after signing in yesterday congratulating me on another accomplishment here, at Wealthy Affiliate.
I received an upgraded Dedication Badge telling me that I already reached one year as a WA Premium Member.
I did not even realize that it has already been a year since I joined WA. In my one year as a Premium member, I was able to:
- finish the Certification Course
- gain almost 2,000 followers
- write 92 posts including this one
- create three tutorials.
It has been a year full of challenges in building my niche website. I only have one website but I found it a bit challenging when it comes to finding the time to create quality contents that will give me conversions in the future.
The total earnings that I have on my website are less than £10 which I got only on Amazon third party products. This did not let me down since I still have a part- time job which I usually get my earnings from.
I believe that conversions will come in nicely if I will create more product reviews than creating content for a specific topic that only shows the product.
Although my website incurred fewer earnings, it opened door to many opportunities for my website to be recognized.
First, it gave me the opportunity to guest post on a special education website. Second, my website was featured in my son's school newsletter. And lastly, I was asked to be a guest speaker for parents of autistic children in the school of my daughter and its affiliate primary school. The good thing about this is that I don't need to pay for my website to be advertised because everything is free!
So, these are all the accomplishments that I have accomplished during my one year experience at Wealthy Affiliate. I look forward to more opportunities to come which includes learning ways on how to gain conversions besides creating good quality and useful niche specific content.
