A Story of Faith and Triumph

Does your faith lead you to triumph over the hardships of your life?

This is the question that went through my mind after watching a touching true story of a man after being left by his wife was able to triumph over the hardships of life because of his faith.

The man did not finish his secondary education and is having a hard time making both ends meet with his meager salary. His wife, on the other hand, was able to finish her college education and has always been supportive of him. They lived in the province where landing on a good paying job is impossible.

The conflict began when their third child was born. Their expenses become more than they could handle. The man tried his best to find a job that could earn him more but he did not succeed. The wife then decided to find a job. She went in the city and found a job as a waitress in a restaurant. Sadly, she has to leave her family behind and has to come home on a weekly basis.

One day, she failed to come home. Her children were wondering what happened to their mom so, the man immediately went to the city to look for her. He first went to the restaurant where she works. Her workmates said that it has already been a week when they last saw her and that her wife was no longer working with them. The man searched for her everywhere and soon found out that his wife went with another man. His world broke apart so together with his three children, he decided to leave their house.

They went to his sister's place where they stayed for a while. He continued to work hard until he was able to save some money to build a new house. He was able to build a house made of nipa (a palm tree with creeping roots). The children like their new home but it was short-lived because a violent storm struck their province which destroyed their house. Their goat whom he thought got lost was able to find a shelter in a nearby cave. This gave the man an idea to live there with his children. But the children were afraid because there were many bats at night. One of them almost got bitten by a snake but their dad was able to grab and kill it. Despite the danger, they still continue to live there.

A ray of light soon arrived when one of his children's teacher posted their home on Facebook. It achieved a lot of shares and many wanted to help them. They will finally get a decent house soon all because of the teacher's help through social media.

Surely, life itself is full of ups and downs. But faith conquers it all. If we continuously have faith in ourselves that we can overcome the hardships and failures in life, the time will come when everything will go smoothly and will turn to our side. We should not easily lose hope but continue to have faith because this will help us move forward.

The story also showed us how to give back by helping others who need our help. How we can help humanity by doing good deeds and the impact of social media in today's society.

So, fellow entrepreneurs, let me leave you this question. What are you doing today to triumph the hardships that you experiencing in life?

Please leave your comments for further discussion and it would be nice to click the like button for your appreciation.

Have a good day, fellow entrepreneurs!

Adel :)

Most people are looking for a hand up not a hand out. Giving always feels great.

Absolutely, Percy! Keep on doing great to people who needs your help. All the best! :)

At the moment, Adel, I'm trying to replace a lost job that made up the bulk of my income.
And too early to make the leap to independence.....

I find that I fare best, (and this tangates what you are saying), when I'm applying and presenting my skills in the best possible way.....
Outwards.....and telling people I know that I'm searching.....

This gets the message out and increases the chances every time I do it.

And the Inner Hope for the solution is fed by these actions.....

I think Facebook has, countless times, been a portal for desparately needed solutions for everyday people everywhere.

Hats off and much Honour to Mark Zuckerberg and All who work with him!

Cheers
