Facebook setback leads to Facebook gain
Not too long ago, I posted a question here at WA if anyone had one of their posts removed from their own business Facebook page because it supposedly violated their community rules. I had a recent post of mine removed from Facebook because they considered it spam even though it was a link to my most recent article at the time on my Facebook. I never had an issue with that before, but for some reason they considered that spam. I did try and appeal it, but haven't heard back from them yet.
I was kind of down about it, but I still moved forward and added new content to my website and posted a link and a little description this time on my Facebook page. So far I haven't received any messages about it being removed or violating one of their rules. Well earlier today in a Facebook group that's heavily related to what my website is about and that I'm a member of, someone asked a question on a thread that I was able to actually answer because it has to do with a product I reviewed on my website. I was able to post a link to that article on my website and replied to the person that they could read my article and then there is a link to the official company's website where he could see a wide range of products they offer for what he was wanting.
He asked me a few more questions and was very thankful for my help and mentioned which product he was going to purchase that would help him with what he needed. I was admittely a bit shocked how it happened in that way, especially in that Facebook group I've been a part of mainly because a lot of the people in there are negative, but this person wanted help and actually could see the value of what the group is about and needed questions answered and I was happy to help him with that and now it more than likely will lead to my first affiliate sale of my newer website (not my first affiliate sale ever). This is what it's about, showing people the value and knowledge that you posess, putting it on a website and promoting it so the right people can benefit from it. This stuff really works here at Wealthy Affiliate.

It's all part of the learning process Brian and aa long as we learn we will improve moving forward my friend! :-)
Take lemons and make lemonade. Any setback is typically a great learning opportunity and an opportunity remain flexible, evolve in a positive way, and will ultimately equip us with a better skill set as we move forward.
Thanks for sharing your story here Brian! :)
Great motivational post, Brian.
