Holiday Shopping Season - next year, perhaps!
Yeah, it is very tempting to become part of the holiday shopping rush and take a piece of the pie by making the right offers through my sites. Many thoughts have also been coming to the mind to try and cash in but something is not working out.
Disappointing but I guess my unpreparedness to take the plunge is what 's stopping me.
Starting just a couple of months ago on this platform, writing for the first time, getting myself familiar with this small piece of wonder called the laptop, learning what is blogging, and words like SEO, domain, URL, etc. and still struggling to build the two sites that I have embarked upon without real traffic, I guess I have to first get my basics right before I start tapping into opportunities like Thanksgiving, Black Friday (still don't know why is it called so), Cyber Monday, etc.
Hoping to be able to cash in a bit during Christmas/New Year or maybe Valentines....if not, definitely next year Thanksgiving onward!
To all those who are ready to make a fortune, all the very best! I will celebrate Thanksgiving by upgrading my membership at WA to yearly!!

Black Friday got that name because most retail stores operate in the red (not making money) all year but sales were so strong on the Friday after Thanksgiving that they went into the black (profitable!).
A blog is not a temporary commitment - you'll be all ready for next year's Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and the one after that, and the one after that.....

I wish I was more organised too. However I have still targeted a few posts to this holiday market. It may not work but at least I will have some practice for next year.
