I really don't like the look my pages with the links underlined. I have searched through the settings but cannot find anything to get rid of it. Any ideas?
Every link in whole WWW is underlined --- its important else how would people know what text to click???
They are usually just a different color for the links but mine are both colored and underlined.
It is not just in WA, but if you go to other websites, most links are underlined and usually in blue, although I've seen some in purple, bolded and in black. Making it underlined and colored makes it standout. I think this is the standard setup for links. But you can change this. There are some websites I've visited where the links are not recognizable and I didn't like that too much. As MINDwell said, how will your visitors know where to click if you don't make the links stand out. You want to make it easy for your visitors to navigate your website right? . .

Why are all my links underlined?

I think it's your choice of theme.
Normally links are only underlined when you mouseover...
You can choose another theme, or you can use a bit of HTML code.
If you like to know how I'll send you a private message.
All the best,
Kit
Thanks Kit but not to sure about going the html route. It still makes me nervous to play with it. I think I am going to try a different theme first. If that fails I will be back for your help with the html. Thanks a bunch. Deb

When I purchase a domain how many websites can I put on it or does each website need its own domain?
Deborah: mykc724 hit it right on top of the head. One domain name = one website. Why would you want it any other way? You want people to go to your website, so they type in the domain name and there they go. If you could (and you can't) use one domain for multiple websites wouldn't it be a CRAP SHOOT to see which visitor got to which website? DAN

If I take advantage of the black friday deal do I have to cancel my monthly payment or will that happen automatically?
Hi. It will automatically prorate the days you have already paid for this month and deduct that from the $299 Black Friday deal. You don't need to cancel your monthly payment, the system will take care of that for you.
If I upgrade to premium do I have to cancel my monthly payment?

Hi All just wondering if anyone is using IE 11. For some reason WA is showing up all messed up. Big black piece across the screen and everything else is out of place or some no
DeborahE: I am not sure that I can help you but I too switched over to Windows 10 and I hate it. I have found so many things that simply do no work on Windows 10. I even find websites that tell me to use Windows Explorer (as apposed to Windows Edge which is Windows 10 based). I have and use Google, Google Chrome, and its gmail and I have absolutely no problem with WA or anything else. Cheers. DAN
Hi Dan,
Do you hate windows 10?
Strange, because I really like it and I am a very critic person, certainly when it concerns something where I earn my money with...
Can you give me some examples, because I am really interested in your problems?
Concerning IE11 and Edge: that is a known problem and there will arrive a big update very soon.
It was the same with windows XP, it became the best system they ever made (until windows 7) after Service Pack 1...
And my personal expectations of windows 10 are high or they have to start with windows 11 very soon, but I guess this is the system for the next 7 years... 2001 XP, 2009 win 7, 2015 Win 10 (so you can say every 7 years more or less they produce a good system, but I my opinion is also that vista was better than people think)
Some info about the update
http://www.howtogeek.com/232176/whats-new-in-windows-10s-first-big-update-the-windows-10-fall-update/
And it would be a miracle if it will be on your computer before December or even next year, next week they start with threshold 2, which means, they will upgrade a selective group of users that are known and that also help with testing the build releases and such things, so before it is approved for everybody, it still will take some time...
But again, I am very interested in your bad experiences with windows 10, maybe a PM is better cause this is has nothing to do anymore with the raised question by Deborah.... :-)
Grtz,
Bert
Hello,
I totally agree with Labman, I would even say: take Chrome.
I have internet explorer 11 on windows 10 (now writing this message with) and I don't have any issues...
And I also did the upgrade from (in my case win7) to win 10...
But the big difference is: I don't use it, not win 7 and not on win 10, except exceptionally...
So, what I would do is; Reset your IE 11 to the default settings.
Go to internet options, select tab advanced and at the bottom you have a button "reset", click on it....
When you do that, the chance is rather high that your problem will be gone, I am not sure of course...
Grtz,
Bert
Didn't help but I am now moving all my bookmarks to chrome. Been trying everything. Reset, power off computer, I even uninstalled and reinstalled IE and it is still messed up here. So now I will be just getting used to chrome. Thanks for the help
Chrome or Firefox or Safari are the preferred browsers. Microsoft just refuses to play nice with the other search engines. Their browser has improved a bit with the new edge software but it is still sadly behind the rest of the world.
