To get your website up and running? I have another job which keeps me pretty busy and I really want to do this program. When I first started, I was on here daily. Now, I have found myself come to a stand still. Any advice?

Proper time management and your site will be "up and running" in no time...

Hey Deborah,

It's all about time management, priorities and desire. I've actually written an article about this that may help you:

Let know if it does or not.

I'm not sure what you mean by "up and running". I can tell you that it will probably take 3 -4 months of consistent effort to start seeing daily organic traffic.

Take it one step at a time no matter how big the step. Keep taking action every day, even if it is a small step like spending 20 mins to engage in the community here or search a keyword, or write and article outline, or whatever it is :)

There is absolutely no shame in going back and reviewing if you feeling a little stuck or overwhelmed... I do it often still to this very day :)

If it takes you 2 days to get a website up or a 3 weeks what really matters is that a website is up no matter what the time frame. It's not a race, it's about what you feel comfortable with.

Hi. You have to figure out what works for you. It may be useful to set up a schedule to work on your site. Many of us work full-time, have families and other commitments. These cannot be ignored. But you now need to add learning and working on your website into the mix. Remember, you're in this for the long-term. If you can add only one or two posts to your site per week then do that. It will build up and rank over time.

To get going again go back to your reasons for starting with WA and the reasons you chose the niche you did. Find the passion and use that to fuel your energy and commitment. Hope this helps.

That's a tough one for me to answer since I am medically retired, but I know when I did work I would spend as much time as necessary on a project I wanted to get going.
It took me less than a month and 1/2 to put mine up on the Internet.
Good Luck!
