My Honest Opinion Of Wealthy Affiliate
After four years at Wealthy Affiliate, things are going great!
I woke up this morning, let the dog out, grabbed my coffee, and plopped down in my big brown chair to check the computer for my affiliate marketing stats.
Wow! What a great morning!
I had an upgrade, a commission, and some Adsense pennies the same morning!
This isn't a big deal for many of you folks, but for me, it is HUGE!
Everything that was suggested to me that could happen is happening to me. Inconceivable!
After chasing the affiliate marketing rabbit for years, I finally caught it.
Wealthy Affiliate is hands down the best affiliate marketing program I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
The Truth About My Wealthy Affiliate Timeline
I haven't worked at Wealthy Affiliate for four years. My first three years were dormant, and I didn't start blogging seriously until January of '23.
That's right. For three years, I paid for a subscription that wasn't used because, in the back of my mind, I always thought that someday I would give Wealthy Affiliate a fair try.
I could kick myself for procrastinating but console myself with the idea that I did nothing because it wasn't my time yet.
Here's the thing, though. Once I started, I didn't stop. A little over a year since starting, I have 256 published articles spread over two sites, and as I stated in the first section, the money is starting to come.
It's a truly wonderful feeling. Wealthy Affiliate has made me successful instead of being a failure again. How did that happen?
Wealthy Affiliate Shines in the Affiliate Marketing Arena
I've failed at affiliate marketing on several other platforms. I won't name names, but there have been more than four.
Failure hurts. It's a real kick in the heart and the head—forget about the pants. Failure is losing, and losers lose. Feeling that way affects how you see yourself. It stinks! But you can't give up!
Wealthy Affiliate has made me feel like a winner again. Why is WA so awesome?
Wealthy Affiliate has all of the ingredients of the perfect affiliate marketing training platform:
- You get to work the first few lessons for free. You wouldn't buy a car without driving it, a baseball glove without trying it on, or a book without reading a review.
- It is affordable. For the price of a decent daily cup of coffee, a premium upgrade provides training that exceeds most other programs available on the net.
- The teaching is comprehensive. After upgrading, there is training on everything from setting up your first website to on- and off-page SEO. Lessons from blogging to YouTube channels are available to help you learn the venue you are comfortable using. And let's not forget about social media. All of the training is there.

My Honest Opinion
After looking around the internet at various programs available that teach affiliate marketing, I found myself chuckling at some for their lack of substance. I was infuriated at others for their high price tag.
When a guru tells you to fork up several thousands of dollars upfront for a program you know little about, and if you don't, then you must not be serious about building a business, RUN!

Congrats! That's good your doing better. I started my first year and have not been active that much for 4 months. Originally my first year I wrote 230 articles and recently have not need that active. I did delete a bunch of plug-ins and now only have 5. Says my plug-ins are at 90% now. Glad you decided to come back and give that another try. I'm thinking of starting 2 more sites, as to let the sites get seniority. Two topics that I like. Maybe work on some but definite later.

Hi Dave, as you can see from my profile, I subscribed to the free version of WA in 2022 and stayed silent for almost two years.
I had been running successfully my online business about fabrics since more than 10 years, but after a stop of 3 years for health problems, I immediatly understood I could not restart alone: the online scenario was totally changed in the last 3 years and the AI was running faster than ever.
So, I made up my mind to committ with WA last month. In 3 weeks, two NEW websites have been online and FINALLY - can I say it again FINALLY - I have a CLEAR PATH of what to do next to take my online business to the next level!
So, yes, I agree with you 100%! This is a magic place to be!

Regarding the conversation, during that time when Wealthy Affiliate was morphing, back in 2016, the platform required that you provide good and honest content to Google. And you were to present it without plagiarism and do so with really lengthy text (Meaning up to 5,000 words) to get indexed.
You have been here since April 2020.

I would have to agree about it being pretty close to perfect! Have also tried several other options, invested money, been too slow or found it hard to move forward only to find that when they upgraded I was expected to pay a few thousand more for the privilege of being able to access it! Impossible for those of us new to this. Although sometimes the amount of info on WA can be a little overwhelming, I've learnt to just focus on what I need to, with the knowledge that it is ALL there for me when i need it...
