Woo-hoo! Made my first sale! Admittedly, it was because I recommended a grammar book to one of my students and told her to go through my website instead of going straight to Amazon, but that's not the point. I've now made the princely sum of £1.12!
What the hey, even Bill Gates had to make his first dollar somewhere. Onwards and upwards, me hearties!

Awesome Dave and the "recommendation" aspect is going to be no different when you do this with complete strangers on your website.
You build trust through helping people and then once you have someones trust, you make quality recommendations. Think of the scaling possibility with this within any niche and I think the idea of it alone will blow your mind.
