Just rejoined WA after taking a hiatus from internet marketing for a couple of years. The main reason for the downtime was that I burned myself out, writing and trying to do everything myself. Then the first Panda update hit, and my websites took a huge hit. After all that work, everything just seemed to go down the drain. It was just too much!
But I've still been pulling in a small monthly income from my websites, so all wasn't lost. After some time off, I'm ready to give it another try. Jobs are few and far between around here, and I'm not keen on selling myself into slavery for minimum wage, even if I could manage to land something. I'd rather work on my own, even if I don't make a huge amount!
My husband pointed out that I didn't really have a plan my first time around in the internet marketing world. I need to sit down and consider what I want to do, and how I'm going to do it. I also want to limit myself to 20 hours a week, to avoid burning out again. Is this realistic? I don't know. I'm going to be 59 this year, and I want to have time to enjoy life with my hubby, too!

Hey there Darlene. I appreciate your follow and now I"m watching you, too. I can't tell when you came back for a second time, was it a while ago? I see you've been at WA since 2007 so you know a lot more about this than I do. Hope it's going well for you. Nice to "meet' you. ~Lisa

Welcome back. Limiting yourself to a set number of hours will slow you down but isn't a major concern. The nice thing about this is that it will allow you to move forward at your own pace.
A plan is a very necessary thing. In fact, Kyle asks you to set goals in the first lesson. I recommend you re-start with the basics. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-entrepreneur-certification-getting-started-level-1/getting-rolling

Hi, Labman. Yes, I'm working through the online entrepreneur course, along with the WA Bootcamp. I'm getting a LOT of really good ideas here...And of course, having a plan helps! I've written down a few goals, too. It's hard to get to where you're going if you don't have a map!
