An evening stroll to take in this sunset

Hey my fellow WA members, I hope you are having an amazing day, afternoon or evening wherever you are currently reading this post from.

This blog post is almost a subtle reminder to myself more than anything to enjoy the scenery I have almost literally on my doorstep. After an unusually hectic day spent creating content I felt the need to leave the house and enjoy a simple stroll along the beach.

Sometimes we all need to take a step back and just relax. Whether it's taking a few minutes out for some deep breathing or spending an evening watching the sun set, it's important to find time for ourselves.

For me, there's nothing quite like taking an evening stroll along the beach, especially when the water is calm and the sunset is as beautiful as shown in the snaps I managed to take this evening. The sun, sand and sea are all so relaxing, and they help to clear my head and reset my focus. I always feel so refreshed after a short walk on the beach, and I'm ready to take on whatever challenges the next day might bring.

If you're looking for a way to relax and unwind, I highly recommend finding a spot near the water. Whether it's the ocean, a river or a lake, the sound and sight of water can be incredibly soothing. So take some time for yourself this week, and enjoy everything that nature has to offer.

Here are a couple of snaps from the sunset here at Morecambe Bay this evening. My photography skills may need a little improvement but I'm happy with these two taken on my phone.

It's always important to take some me time and relax when we need it Danny...

I do so love the water also, its calming effects can work wonders!

I haven't been to Morecambe for over 20 years, have things changed much? And the photos look great by the way my friend!

1

There has been a fairly drastic change over that time-span with regards to things to do and see in the area, the Dome has gone, the Polo tower has finally been taken down, Christie Park has been replaced with a supermarket but the new football ground was certainly needed. The sea-front has seen some improvements and with the potential Eden project incoming it offers a lot of hope for the future.

The sunsets rarely fail to deliver though.

2

That does sound like a lot of change for the better Danny!

Any place with beautiful sunsets over the sea is a preferable place to reside compared to where I currently do my friend!

2

Very nice, indeed, my friend! How relaxing!

Yeah super relaxing, there were plenty of pooches enjoying the sand and sea too.

1

I'll bet that was exciting to see too!

Wow, Danny! What a relaxing and inspiring view.

I’d probably be writing content sitting out there under a nice umbrella with a cooler and some food! 😎

You know, I'd never considered taking the laptop out and working from the beachfront until I read this comment, you have inspired me to do this at least once this summer.

3

Check it out, Danny.

I think it will become a wonderful routine in no time! 😎

You've obviously never been to Morecambe before then Frank!

It's more likely you would need an umbrella for the rain and a heater my friend! 😅

3

So true for most of the year haha

3

That's what I seem to remember Danny!🤣

3

Yes, I've never been there, Nick.

I was going by Danny's photos and I went on the Morecambe Bay Tourism website. They make it sound wonderful!

There are no nice summer beach days? That sucks! 🥴

From what I remember Frank it is a beautiful place, just a little chilly and wet even in the middle of the summer season!!

But I am sure that if you were lucky a nice summer beach day may on occasion be had!!

Just pack an umbrella and a coat just in case my friend!

Such a beautiful view and certainly one that can help clear the mind and stresses of the day.

I live in a small village and my garden backs onto a horses field. No water there but just being surrounded by the birds and open space does wonders for me.

2

Ohh that sounds very idyllic, I bet you get some good sunsets/sunrises over that field.

1

Amazing! Lucky you, for having such relaxing place just at your doorstep.

Hey Marita, Yeah I am super lucky to have this on my doorstep, I just need to remind myself sometimes just how lucky I am to have this so close by.
