It's the little things!
I just thought I would share some of my successes from this week. So, i've only been here for about 3 weeks or so, and since I've gotten my website online I've had 26 views. Granted most of it is probably from people on WA, but I still didn't expect to have any kind of traffic so soon, honestly. It does say some of the traffic is (direct)(none), not really sure what that means, but i'll take it. Also, just this week, I've gotten 4 new articles published. Which is a big deal for me, seeing as how it seems like it usually takes me hours to write just one. I think I might be getting faster and words are starting to flow more naturally. And finally, google adsense apparently decided my website was okay enough for them to post ads on. So yayy! I have a semi-functioning website! Now I just need it to make more than $3,000 a month ASAP so I can quit my job and be FREE! Lol!

that's how much i want to make, at a minimum. if i could make at least $2,000 or more a month then i could afford to quit my job. if i could make at least $3,000 a month then i could afford to quit my job and be comfortable. whichever one it is i would finally be free to live how i want to. keep going and doing what you're doing. i'm sure you'll get there. i hope i can too.
Ah, we got this! I'm sure it's gonna take awhile, but we'll get there. I make just under $3k a month at my job now, but it's long hours and it's night shift, and I hate it. I want to be able to do something I love and still make money. I've always been told if you follow your passion, that's where you'll excel. Just keep your head up and focus on the small goals your achieving to stay motivated. :)
yes we do. i agree, will take time but we'll get there. i work the night shift too. i work overnight, have been doing it for years and i hate it also. cant wait to quit this job. you make more than me, lol. i bring home less than $2k a month. i'm definitely trying to stay motivated and dedicating as much free time as i can to my site.
The money I make isn't even worth it. Lol. If I knew I'd have a place to stay and food to eat, I'd leave immediately. But we gotta do what we gotta do.
That's exactly what I'm doing too. I don't hang out with friends anymore, I don't play video games, I don't watch t.v. anymore. I just live and breathe WA right now, but I'm totally okay with it!
same here. yeah we sometimes gotta work jobs we dont like to support ourselves and more. i love hanging out with friends and watching tv and playing video games. i dont get to hang out with friends as much as i like (conflicting schedules). the other 2 i do on a daily basis. i need to after work to destress and relax but its not for too long. i cant really work on my site at home b/c my laptop doesnt work very well. i mostly do the work on the computer at my job, lol. its ok though. bosses dont mind and its slow season at my job so i have hours of free time (once my work is done) to work on my site. sadly i get interrupted quite a bit which slows down my progress a little but i work on it everyday so making a little progress everyday.
Wow the Jaaxy numbers on that first post's keywords are a knockout - you will kill it.

Just be sure to remove that link to Your website so You don't get suspended for promoting. (Kyle refers this of being guilty of to spam, which then in some cases, could lead into a permanent "account explosion".) Spam is a NO NO! There's a specific section on Your profile that will show Your website. You can find what I mean, by scrolling down on, for example, Kyle's profile and look to the left.
I'm sure this wasn't Your intention at all. as most people do not read the 'terms of use' before joining a website. That's why I thought I should warn You.

Yes it should. That would have been nice to know. Seems like most new people would get excited and want to show off their progress like that. I got it fixed now though. :)
