i am thinking of changing the theme of my website. when i do that i won't lose anything that's already on my page, will i?

Be aware that not all Themes are compatible with content from another theme.
Why not test themes out on a Test Site within WA.
(you do have 25 free SiteRubix so you can spare one for testing)
Lots of members have one as it saves a lot of grief and loss.
Robert

thats a good idea. ill try that.

No probs, the simple ideas are usually the best.
Hope your Wednesday is going well.
Robert

Hey Massi,
If you did some code changes (CSS or PHP files) to your theme, you will definitely lose them.

However, your page/post contents are all stored in the database so there won't be any losses. But you are surely going to do some minor adjustments depending on the new design. These are generally things like menu placements, sidebar widgets, etc

Thanks

great thanks.

i am putting most of my pages in the pages widget in my blog sidebar to give the top/header a cleaner look. one of the pages i want at the top is also in the pages widget and i

Erin has answered you. But if you don't see the page you want to remove (as it is a default page menu), create a new menu and do not include that page into the new menu. Then choose the location where you want the menu to be displayed.

Hi Massiel and happy to connect with you! You can go to Appearance and Menus and remove it there.

Erin :)!

Hi Massi,
Good to connect
I use a plugin go page visibility within my blog.
If you are comfortable with another plugin, check it out here https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-hide-post/

Otherwise, the widget should allow you exclude some pages by simply entering the page unique identifier

ive added in the specific page that i want to exclude but it wont remove it.

Are you using a caching plugin?
You may need to clear your cache to get the updates applied

i dont know to be honest.
