Laziness Is Your Key To Success

I'm gonna start this blog post with a harsh truth.

Most people are lazy.

In fact, we live in a world now that is so full of instant gratification & endless scrolling that it is actually becoming very difficult NOT to be lazy.

And from time to time, I even fall victim to laziness myself.

It's EASY to be lazy.

But at the same time, laziness is also the key to your success.

You see, laziness means that most people have absolutely no interest in writing a 1,000 word article to publish on their website.

And they'll certainly have no interest in doing it consistently for a period of time.

Lazy people give up.

And thankfully, guess what?

At the moment we live in a world that's absolutely full of lazy people. Statiscally, people are now lazier than they ever have been before.

This means that you have an AMAZING opportunity.

It means that you essentially are guaranteed to succeed, providing you are actually willing to put in the work & persist with it.

You see, the truth is, nobody wants to write a 1,000 word article...

So by doing it, you are essentially already ahead of 90% the "competition".

And the only thing that then stops you from getting from that 10% into the 1% is persistence, because out of those that DO put in the work initially, most will not persist.

So if ever you're thinking about taking the easy option & watching TV or scrolling social media when you could be writing a post for your website, think twice about it.

Writing a post for your website may not necessarily be the "easy" or most "fun" option but just know that whilst you are doing it, your competition will most likely be doing the opposite.

You don't need to work HARDER than your competition, you just need to be more persistent.

So don't fall victim to the trap of laziness, use it to your advantage!

Thank you so much Dale🌟

So true to this post, I myself fell victim to something like that, but on the other hand, it only happen when I am having a difficulty time completing a post/page, then I put it aside for awhile and eventually go back and complete it.

Thanks for sharing.

Elizabeth

Incredible writing, and so truthful! Laziness was what I had become accustomed to before I looked into LOA and Wesley Virgin. He really pushed me to do things that weren't comfortable for me. Being autistic, having a so-called "learning disability" has caused me _In the PAST_ to just kinda take life as it comes (which is only what I bring into it after all).

The truth, you're right - sometimes it takes work to write for one thousand words. But then again.... writing is one of my skills - I can write about anything. I sometime may actually look into writing copy - as it could be VERY lucrative, but I have to believe in what I'm writing for or about, which is the problem :) I vet everything in my life, make sure it needs to or should be there, otherwise, it's gone.

Does it provide me with what I need?

Does it help me in my goals?

Will it hinder me?

Will it make life difficult?

Has it caused me pain or problems in the past?

These are all things to consider when one allows something to be in their lives, no matter what it is.

Wealthy Affiliate.... has caused me nothing but happiness and actually once again, brought me into a community of people who help everyone else.
Everyone here is helpful. Or tries to be!

Laziness helped me because I got to where I need to be when I needed to be there. But it also allowed me to learn how and when to be lazy.
When things get tough, relax a bit and *watch* what happens while continuing to do what you love!

Thanks Dale!

To your success,

JAG.

Good morning Dale,

I hope you're doing well and that business is good.

What an excellent blog post, your words are so true!

I have been self-employed virtually all my working life, I also used to do jobs before I left school. I remember when I was a teenager and in my early 20s people would wonder why I was doing quite well. There's a very simple answer to this, I was working and they were drinking in the pub! (I don't have a problem with someone enjoying a drink) is just a case of getting our priorities right!

I appreciate an online business brings far more distractions, so we need to be fairly strict with ourselves. I wrote a blog post a few weeks ago regarding how many people follow through at Wealthy Affiliate. Unfortunately I believe the number to be quite low, due to the reasons that you have mentioned.

I believe that your blog post will be a wake-up call to many people.

Thank you Dale, very truthful and inspiring blog post.

Wishing you all the best.

Roy

I hope it will be Roy, affiliate marketing can provide awesome rewards. It's always a shame to see people give up :( thanks for your comment!

Good morning Dale,

Thank you for your reply. I hear you big time, I think there are far too many people who are just on the edge of success and give up much too early.

Have a great day and a good weekend.

Roy
