How To Claim Your Free .com Domain After Upgrading
When you upgrade here at WA, you're given a free domain as a nice bonus 🎁
However, since there's no clear explanation of how to actually claim your free domain name once you've upgraded, I get asked the same question multiple times every day...
How Do I Claim My Free .com Domain Name?
So, I figured I'd publish a blog post explaining how to do it.
To claim your free domain, you simply need to choose the "Register a Domain" option when selecting a domain name & use "Pay With Credits" as the payment method.
This will use the free domain credits you were given when you upgraded & so, as a result, you'll be able to get the domain name for free. 😚
Easy as that ✅
Maybe one day a simple explanation will appear on the domain selection page... But until then, I hope you find this one helpful.

I just asked about this. So timely!
I do have a question. It seems as if you are given 30 credits when you upgrade. But 30 credits does not seem to be enough to purchase a domain name, which typically seems to cost at least 32 - 34 credits.
Any insight? Maybe there are less expensive domain names other than the .coms?

Haha, I must be psychic. It would be great if they explained it on the domain page.
With regards to your specific question, I'm afraid I'm not entirely sure Somebody else did ask me the same thing before, mentioning that their credits didn't add up to enough. Hopefully Kyle can chime in & help with that.

I actually put this very question to SiteSupport, yesterday, and they are following up with Carson or Kyle. I told them not to rush as we are smack in the middle of the holidays. Plus a good part of my interest is not about me, but about promoting WA accurately.
I'll let you know if/when I learn more.

It used to be 30 credits when they started this option then the prices went up around the world so WA increased this to 32 credits
