quality comments, weed out spam and fluff, and respond when approving has been my method for 20 years. Comments show both engagement signals and social signals and for a personal point, it shares with me which potential subscribers are going to be my pot of gold. Satisfy the needs of the reader and BAM the dollars flow.
Great little video here again Dale!
I totally agree that when we receive QUALITY comments on our posts that they help with SEO and rankings in the search engines, but......
Unfortunately I found that the majority of the comments received from the SiteComments area of the platform here were very generic and added little to no value so I stopped using it a while back!
This was before AI became mainstream so I can only imagine the quality of the comments now!
Maybe things have changed, maybe not.... but I don't see anything wrong with trying again, there's nothing to lose apart from a bit of time!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend too my friend!!

Thank you Nick.
That's not good to hear; it's always a shame great systems fall to people trying to game them :(
You're most welcome Dale and it is indeed....
Unfortunately we will always find some who try to game the system...
Just look at the constant spamming by a certain member 24/7 in live chat here!!!

Awesome Dale,
I like how you explain about blog comments and it reminds me to get back to site comments to add value to my old blogs.
Top video :)
Kind regards
Erica
Thanks Erica, glad you found it helpful :)
Not impressed though sorry to say Dale,
I just submitted 4 blogs for comments and so far got two AI boring replies from 2 of my very interesting blogs...
I personally do not see the value in paying for comments if there is going to be no human relevance of thinking in a reply, surely Google will not be interested in that!
