New Year, New start

So Xmas has been a nightmare for me as I have been very inactive onWA and have been having withdrawal symptoms :-)

I have 4 pages of post ideas waiting to go and I have not been able to do anything with them. I intend to hit the ground running in January and get as many posts up as I can. I have got so many other things I want to do as well but I think the best plan is to ignore SEO, Themes, website ergonomics etc until I have a set number of posts.

So I have decided to get 50 posts of rich content before I look at developing the site. The main reason is that I get distracted with other thing like Amazon aStore, SEO, Google Analytics etc. This is to the detriment of posting content; there is no point in having the best ranked website if it has no comment...

Onwards and upwards :-)

Dave, my approach is always to develop your craft and content first as a springboard to developing the business and marketing analytics and goals later. Good luck with this approach as 2016 unfolds.

I can relate to you on this it's time to get focused and move forward I too get distracted .So much thanks for your words it's just what I needed to hear. Best of luck in the NewYear !

I am in the same boat as you things on the back boiler and ready to get back into things once more

You are right

I had somewhat of the same thing going. Time to refocus.

Oh yes the old "getting sidetracked" - I am guilty of trying to jump ahead and worry about Themes when I haven't even written a single post! Thank you for the timely reminder. :)

I have also been NOT doing everything that I could be doing to move forward. But....sometimes we need that holiday break to refresh, regenerate and get us motivated again to move 'onward and upward'. So....Cheers to a New Year and Let's Rock It in 2016!! ~ Diane

Hi Dave.
I hope you had a nice Christmas holiday and I know your mind is not on your business at the moment, as I was not in the zone either. However the time you spend on the other components will be beneficial to your website in the long run. Post what you have and keep adding content as you go.

All the best in 2016. Happy New year!

David

Agreed, sounds great

Good morning and you sound like you have a great plan so good idea to get it all solid before you aim and fire!!!!
Best regards. Paul
