I have tried many times to add a link to my posts but having no luck, I have tried with 2 different affiliate programs any ideas?
Hi,
Are you trying to add links to certain phrases or banners? which affiliate programs are they? I'm asking because some of them work differently and if I know which ones you are talking about, it will help.

What is the URL of the post and the names of the links that doesn't want to open? Maybe I can take a look from this side if it works for me.
I know we must always check our links, but I'm sometimes scared to click my own, because I'm afraid they might think I'm trying to fool them.
What I've seen with share a sale is that even if it is a link to words, you must add it as HTML, otherwise it doesn't work. If you want to add your own words and link by highlighting and adding link, then you must use the one at the bottom

Just glad you got it figured out, I also struggled with it when I started at share a sale, their things are a bit different.

You know what I think - you must take a deep breath and go through their tutorials peacefully.
There's no rush, when you first understand how they work, it will become allot easier to add links to your site.
Sadly, some of the affiliate companies are allot easier to understand than others - Amazon being one of the more difficult ones. But when you start to understand how they work, you can even create an Amazon shop on your website - which is awesome.
Years ago, I also rushed through the tutorials, thinking I must get it up and running ASAP, but then I learned that it sometimes takes time.

Are you talking about when you edit your page and then have a look on how it looks? If that is the case, I had a similar problem with some of the links and others seemed to work but then when I went back and refreshed the ones that were missing the other ones diapered. Well after a few tries I finally got them all to work, How? I have no idea!
I don't think that this helps much but I just had to put it in here! Sorry!
Are you still having this issue? I'd make sure Wordpress is fully updated and maybe try a different theme to make sure it isn't stripping links from the code.

Just change/renew the content, add the link and make it another post! It probably will "rank" better too.
Hey, Eric just came up with a good solution below but then I see that this doesn't work for you either. Here comes the question, what are you trying to do? Are you talking about a post on your website, or a post on Google, Facebook and so on. If that is the case, you need to "hide" your link. You need to create a page that has your link on and you need to publish a link that leads to that page. Google (unless you have a "business" account), Facebook, Twitter and so on don't like Affiliate links!

Home page is usually the blog roll page. You can change it of course and make some other page in the main menu to contain your blog roll.
