5 Take-Aways From Kyle's Webinar

Last week I was able to take the time to watch Kyle’s “Wabanar" and was blown away by the amount of wisdom he imparted to us. I was taking notes like crazy and feel like I could watch it several times again and each time pick up points that I missed.

Yesterday I was fortunate to be invited into bolipton’s mentorship group and consider that to be a tremendous honor and an opportunity to settle down into this business and quit spinning in circles. Thank you Bo for this opportunity.

Bo’s first assignment to the group was to watch Kyle’s teaching “wabinar” from Dec, 2016 and write down five things Kyle says that will help us and post them here in our blog so all can learn from what we are learning.

Before I begin with my five take-away I feel compelled to say, there is much more than five here. Kyle is very wise man and he wastes no words. Everything he said in that hours time was valuable for everyone here on WA. If you have not watched it I highly suggest you take the time and watch it and the one he taught last week.

1. Start At The Beginning!

It only makes sense! We don’t go out and try to run before learning to walk. We do not attempt to play a game without learning the rules or how the game is played do we?

Before we even attempt to start our online business we need to learn how to do it, the techniques, and the process. Kyle and Carson have developed an awesome system here on WA. They have been doing it for about 15 years! If it did not work do we still believe this would still be to be a growing and thriving community? That screams to me “The system here WORKS”. If it didn’t, I doubt WA would still be here.

SO, all that to say number one is go through the training! It is here for a reason, it works! Don’t try to short circut the system, go through it step by step and you will have to be a far better chance of succeeding.

2. Become The Competition

When just starting out and trying to find your niche do not fear the competition you find while researching your niche. There is competition in anything we do in life and if we fear it we would never venture outside our doors. An expert in any field is not born an expert. He starts somewhere as a beginner and learns. As you research your niche and continue to learn you will become the competition. Do not let competition be a factor in choosing your niche.

Make it your goal to surpass your competition and become the source that people will come to for solutions and answers. Offer more than what your competition offers and you WILL become the competition!

3. An Online Business IsThe Same As An Offline Business

Any business has three main elements. You, your customer and your product. You must link all three of these elements together to be successful .Structure your business for long term success and do not skip steps. You must understand and appreciate the human element of your business or you will fail.

Do not over-complicate things and learn how to connect your product to your audience. Offer your customesr value, such as good conten talong with the information and solutions they are seeking. They don’t want to come to your blog to see a list of products. They can go to Amazon for that. Offer them value such as information that will help them or solve a problem. Then, offer products and/or services that will help them with what they need .Don't just hit them with products you are peddling or flashing ads all over your page.

4. Keywords Are Key

The keywords you choose can make or break you. Long tail keywords are best, especially when you are just starting out. With long tail keywords you not only take advantage of the long key phrase but also get the search benefit of the the shorter keywords and phrases contained in your long tail keyword.

Any keyword can be unique in how we use and promote it. Make sure it is relevant to your website. Don't go for the most common or those with the highest search results as doing so will make it difficult to get ranked. Rather than not being ranked at all in a high search keyword aim to get ranked in something that may only generate 20 or so searches a month. If you are ranked other than page one or two you will get little to no traffic to your site. The closer to zero QSR the better.

5. Why We Fail

One reason we might fail is because we focus on the wrong thing. We are anxious for success and we simply take the human element out of the process.

We want to see success and we want to see it now. We become enamored with all the shiny objects floating around begging us to give them a try. All the promise that they will help us make money immediately while we sleep.They claim there is no need to do the work just use this or use that and the money will start rolling in.

Why do we need success in an instant? Success takes time you will cut yourself short if you forget this and do not take the time and do the work to succeed. Don’t be involved in everything at once. Work on your content and keywords.

In Summary

Stay off of YouTube and the shiny objects offered by the “gurus”. We have every tool we need to succeed right here on WA. In addition to all the tools and training we have here, we have something just as valuable if not more. We have the human element that we would be foolish to ignore. There are many people here that are a valuable resource to learn from and to help as we are able. The YouTube “gurus” only have their product and the pitch to separate you from your money.

Just as the human element is an important element in any business, it is just as important in the training and learning process. WA is an amazing wealth of training, knowledge, tools and people willing to go out of their way to help you succeed and help you over the bumps and rough patches. Make friends, do the training and don’t be afraid to ask for help and you will have to be a much better chance of success than if you just stumble around in circles looking for to be a way to immediate results.

Focus on the task at hand. Training, research and writing content. Good consistent content will bring traffic.

I know I did not do justice to everything Kyle said so, I urge everyone who has not already done so to go watch Kyle s teaching for yourself. Grab a notebook, pen and a cup of coffee and dig into some awesome teaching.
