Peace And Quiet
You got that right, Snoop Dog...Oh, no-that's the other guy!
The more I hear from Rumi, the better I like him!
I'm spending the weekend near Orlando, Florida, in what is seemingly a large and comfortable home, but a home that is made to feel somewhat smaller by the presence of 6 children.
All of the above...
My miracle is coming...
I have sought solace in a back bedroom, and we shall see how long this self-imposed isolation and serenity will last until I am discovered, and dragged back into the fray.
Just when I was about to say, "So far, so good..." Well, all good things come to an end, don't they?
I'm sure they must have chocolate somewhere. If not, I'll go out and buy some myself!
We can create inner peace, even where there is turmoil.
I've got one of those...Really!
That's the end of my anti-social moment.
It was good while it lasted!

I do have lots of peace and quiet and love it. Sounds like you may be in for a long weekend.
This is a great post thank you for sharing! I wish sometimes I had more moments of peace and quiet.
Love this, Rick. Also love peace and quiet, also love chocolate. Still have it hidden in two distant places- you remember my habit of hiding chocolate from myself? It works well till hot weather is in.
Is the cutie Sue there? Tell her "HI" from me and from Mikkie.:))
The Sue was not there. I was with another daughter's two kids, and 4 more from her husband's brother's family. Whew! :)
That's a pity. Sue does seem a special girl.I am glad you survived- 6 kids really sound like a lot of...:))
Yep I got 19 and the good thing that only at family reunions do they all gang up on you at once.
Ah yes Rick, the joy of much chocolate and a phoneless cord! I shall dream of these things, meanwhile I wish you peace and silence, Sue :)

Don't share the chocolate with the kids or they'll never calm down...but I bet that's why you're really there! Debbie
