Rain in Florida is different.
It can come up in a hurry. It can stop in a hurry.

One time I was walking around the Cotee River, and rain just burst forth from the sky. I wasn't happy about it, since I had just started on mile 2 of a 4-mile walk.
I said something like "Come on, Lord, I've been a good boy!"
I didn't take more than 5 steps before the rain completely stopped!
I just grinned. "Thank you! I said.
But, Divine Intervention and Optimistic Weathermen or not, Florida rain is not only unpredictable, but strange and erratic, as well.
