Since everything is hosted here at wealthyaffiliate, what would my course of action be as to maintaining and running my website/business? Should I first look into a new hosting
I am not sure if there are traffic limits here on WA, but from reading the comments and your replies to them, It sounds like you are thinking about a pretty big site either now or in the future where scaling might be an issue.
While it's true that you can run your website anywhere, you must realize that you won't have the same interface.
WA website acts as an interface, bringing all of your admin tools together in one location and making them easy to use.
A person really should research how much it would cost to have their website hosted somewhere else, with the same quality of security and privacy features PLUS the use of web page editing software.
Personally, I find it convenient to stay right here and do it all, with a support group right at hand in case I am struggling with something.
Your absolutely right, those are my intentions. And I agree, I would prefer to stay and do everything at WA. I just want to make sure if the day arrives where WA is not available to me, I will be able to maintain and handle my site.
If the person posting the question wanted only one answer, I don't imagine they would have posted their question publicly.

You can have your website hosted wherever you like. Not sure why you would want to tho as you are getting hosting here at WA for free with your premium membership
Everything taught to us is involved within WA itself. Assuming WA for whatever reason, is no longer available, I’m asking what would my actions be as to maintaining my business (website).
Your site is built on Wordpress, if anything were to happen to WA, you would join another hosting company and access your site through Wordpress.org
No, I am not. I’m curious as to the safety of the site, after scaling it to a certain extent. I would be risking losing a lot.

The security here in Wa is amazing so never be worried and you can always do a back up just to feel really safe

Absolutely! That does make me feel more comfortable, thank you Vicki. What about in terms of editing the site, and publishing content OUTSIDE of WA? Would you know how that would play out?

I have my WordPress sites hosted elsewhere and access them through http://example.com/wp-admin Log In to WordPress Without Wealthy Affiliate Site Manager
