I actually use a blend of the check-in Site Content, and then the Grammarly check when I view the post in Wordpress. Grammarly catches stuff that Site Content doesn't, specifically certain spelling errors. Now I just need a grammar checker on my phone and I'd be all set, cause my last couple IG posts had a few typos that I didn't even notice. Oops!
Do you write and check in site content, then copy, paste and check in word press.Or the opposite?
For the longest time, I was writing directly in Wordpress until I realized we had the Site Content tool here at WA. For the past few weeks, I have created my post in Site content, ran the Spell Check/Grammar check tool, and then clicked the button in Site Content to post to Wordpress. Once posted, I then logged into my site, and went into edit mode on the post, which is how Grammarly catches any additional errors. It shows as a little red ball at the bottom of the text window. I normally have to go into WordPress anyways to update SEO settings, like my meta description, so I don't feel like I am adding another step to the process.
Yep, I have. In some of my writing, I have used terms that are not necessarily in the dictionary. So when I recheck it, it just pulls the same errors, that were not really errors, that I skipped the first time. Grammarly is a free plugin, by the way, I use it constantly on my comments here on WA.
Thanks Courtney. I also consulted the site. They have some neat tools.
Awesomeness!
Mojalefa.
Good advice Courtney.
I especially liked, stamp your personality in your style of writing.
I really appreciste those words.
Thank you :)

Most writers have a style that identifies them.I often hear readers say" I like his or her style."
Yes I use those words myself.
Do you know your style?
I'm sure I have a style but not really thought much on it til I read your words.
Di :)

Yes, all good advice. I tend to not use the grammar, and spelling checks, as I take pride in my ability to write without it. It is probably a good idea though just to be sure. Nothing worse than reading content that is full of spelling, and grammatical errors. I also read content that has obviously not been even proof read. This is the minimum to ensure correct content. Checking 3 times is also a good. idea I have discovered errors even after the first ok.
