Sunday Evening.after a busy busy but awesome weekend!

So, many of you know that my fulltime bill paying job is managing a tow company that is about 100 miles from home in another state. I typically leave Monday morning and comeback Friday night. I have been doing this for 14 years now and I am getting tired of it. I am actually past my Sunday night bedtime as I will be getting up to leave in six hours. This is my motivation for making the on line business work,,,so I can be home.
Anyways, I digress. Last weekend my wife went a little nuts at the 2 big home improvement stores and ordered 4 pallets of brick pavers, a wood chipper and a new French Door. Everything was scheduled for delivery on this past Friday which worked out as I had taken a personal day for a doctor's appointment.
5 different trucks later everything showed up by 4:30pm on Friday. Unfortunately the last driver wasn't as good with his forklift

And placed the last pallet of 702 brick pavers in the wrong spot and wouldn't put them where I asked him. In fairness to this young man, it was a pretty tight spot and he was nervous about crashing into my house, so I didn't for the issue for obvious reasons. That however created an issue for me as I had to relocate them all by hand,

I moved about 180 of them and then realized I put them in the wrong spot and had to start over (FacePalm)....No worries, by Saturday around 1pm I got them all moved to the right location.
Then came the fun part...replacing the French Door. The last time my wife and I replaced a door together, we almost got a divorce. I told her I didn't want to risk it again, but she has more gumption then I do, or she doesn't care about our marriage....lol.
I will be honest in saying that it was close to the same situation this time. There was a problem with the doors lining up and she (& my son-in-law) didn't want to listen to my explanation as to why we were having the problem. After about 30 minutes of them not listening, I got frustrated and went cut the grass. When I was done I shooed them out of my way and fixed the problem and fortunately the house was once again secured and weather tight.
Today was a little bit relaxed as all I did was laundry and some final assembly on the wood chipper.
Sorry about the images...I was obviously playing around with Bing Create tonight.
I hope you have a Great Week and I thank you for reading what is possibly my longest post to date...lol

I think your images are spot on! My husband and I almost Divorced over putting tin roof on old shed in 90 degree weather.
Sometimes we have those kinds of days, Chuck! Glad you got it all sorted out, my friend!

Ah, yes. ... home renovation projects. My wife and I spent many, many hours preparing and then resurfacing our huge deck. When we stepped back to admire the work, our neighbor said, "What about the railing?" I pushed him off the deck and buried him where he landed. No one ever says, "Great job for every brick you take care of. Get some rest.
