Why Twitter is Amazing
Twitter was one of those mysterious social medial places I rarely frequented. Until recently.
I've been working on growing followers there in the past few weeks, and incredible things are happening. Here are some of the best things that have happened so far:
- Bob Proctor replied to one of my tweets. Bob Frickin' Proctor! (He was in The Secret in case you don't know him. He posts the most inspirational and educational You Tube videos.)
- I had a small conversation with someone I admire in the plant-based world. He's like a celebrity to me! (By the way, his name is Ray Cronise, and he helped Penn Jillette lose over 100 pounds!)
- Danny Wood from New Kids on the Block followed me. The 13-year old girl inside of me is dead right now. DEAD. lol
- Another plant-based cardiologist who has a big following on Twitter posted an article on intermittent fasting. I retweeted his tweet and added a link to a blog post I wrote about my experiences with intermittent fasting. He then retweeted that tweet. (Phew, this is exhausting!) I just checked my analytics today and I had a huge spike from this!
I know it's not a lot of visitors (yet), but It makes me see the potential. Slowly, but surely...
Definitely will be engaging on Twitter more and more. Instagram is next!
Do you use Twitter? What are your success stories with it?

That sounds so exciting, reaching out into the virtual world and being touched by the people you admire from afar. Now I feel inspired to get into Twitter more.
Yes, that's it! Even though I follow these same people on Facebook (well, not Danny Wood. lol ), for some reason it seems to be easier to reach out to them on Twitter, and for them to reach back.
