And up again.!
In my last blog post, we talked about the ups and downs of this business. I was feeling a bit down during that time because I had a huge spike to my site from a Twitter re-tweet, which then dropped like a bomb right after.
Yesterday, I was checking twitter and noticed I had a bunch of notifications. It seems as if a bunch of related sites picked up one of my review posts and tweeted it out! Here are some of them.
While the boost wasn't as big as with the first incident, it did give me a nice amount of clicks through my affiliate link. Now, if I can just convert some of those people...
So, we're back up again.

I read the review some really good information. Plus for someone who wants to get some more healthier options it is a really nice option.
Friday so far TIRED luckily today was a half day 3am wake up and 2 hour ride to work. The weekends are the 2 and a half days I look forward to a week. Mostly so I can work on my site and get much needed rest.
I hope your weekend is good and you get some of those people to convert into some dollars coming in.
You ride 2 hours to work?! That. Is. Crazy.
I guess you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes, but damn, that's a long commute! I would listen to allllll the self-development books and podcasts during that time! lol

Yup it is a long ride long story short we lived in stafford va (NOVA or northern va). my pops worked for the company we work for now. :Moved an hour and a half south of stafford, started working with him almost 3 years ago.
Our commute is 2 hour both ways 3am wake up and home by 530pm. So my weekends are my time to relax and do the things I need to get done you?
Oh yeah I totally agree I haven't really looked into podcasts I have wanted to though, I just havn't found one I like yet. I use a lot of youtube and some pandora or Iheart radio. During my day I use bluetooth in my rock truck to listen to whatever I want to so I get a little entertainment from the boredom of work haha.
You are very dedicated! You have a positive attitude about it all though, so good for you! Attitude will get you everywhere. :)

I do my best to be as a dedicated to my job as a I can until I can get my site, to where I want it to be. Then eventually make an income to the point where I can quit.
Since I believe in the law of attraction even on those days I want to quit right then and there. I always think how if I do my goals to get out will be delayed so I stay.
I have always been the type to like what I do then after it gets easy I get kind of bored if that makes sense? I agree a good attitude will get you everywhere that is why I do my best so I can get there.

I am glad it is back up a bit for you! I just logged back into Twitter for the first time in several weeks. I was so busy with starting my second site and work that I just had to stop doing social media! Anyway, it feels good to be back. I am sure someday I will have enough followers to actually get some sales from it but for now it is a matter of just putting in time and waiting. I don't ever get sales from social media.
I got really excited to see I had an organic search to my new website today however! I was so excited at the thought someone found my new site!!! I get organic searches to my first site but this is the first for my second. The person looked at all my pages and spent over 10 minutes on my site!
Then I noticed the search term they used was almost the same as my site name...with the .com even, so now I am wondering if it was actually a WA member who knew what they were looking for? It is still a good thing though since they were able to put it in and find me! My new site must be getting higher up on Google if they could find me. Ups and downs all the time.

I hope you have luck with Twitter! I don't have many followers yet (only about 650), but it's growing steadily, so that's good! It does take some time though. I really want to grow Instagram and Pinterest too, but that's even more time!
That so awesome about your new site! Just make sure (because I've made this mistake before) that it's not logging your own computer. In fact, I think Google Analytics logs my own computer now, but I just keep it in the back of my mind. Although, you're right. It could be someone from WA.

Yes, I do keep that in mind. It wasn't me. I have not been on my site today and have never searched for it in Google with that particular spelling.

Well, I have to admit the comments are all from WA members! Yay for WA members! I do get organic traffic, but most of those people don't leave comments.
I just responded to your comment on my cat site. I tried to go to your site but it is blocked by my work system...don't feel bad, my new site is blocked by my work computer too! I will check it out again from home later. It really is a great site!
