Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win!
If you want something but there's an obstacle in your way, find
out how to remove it. Don't just give up and accept defeat.
If you give up, you'll never get where you want to go.
Have you ever watched a baby trying to learn how to walk?
He didn't suddenly stand up and run 100 yards on his first try.
No, he tried to take a step and fell flat on his butt. Then he got up,
tried to go forward and promptly fell on his butt again. He didn't quit,
Little by little, he learned to gain balance and as he got better, he kept attempting to go forward. Once he had his mind made up, there's no quitting in him. The more he tried, the less he fell. Instead of crying, now he's laughing, The further he went the less he fell. The stronger he gets, the less he fell. Pretty soon, he's walking strong and before anyone knows, he's running inside the house and before long, outside with his sibblings and friends. He probably fell a hundred times, maybe two hundred, while learning to walk but he never kept a scorecard. His objective was to learn how to walk so that was where he placed his focus. Who cared how many times he fell? Children have no fear. Once their mind is made up to try something, they will keep at it until they've achieved their goal.
Sometimes we have to fail several times in order to move forward. Everyone fails at one time or another or at one thing or another. The objective should be to keep trying until we get it right. Most if not all successful people had to go through the trials of fire in order to achieve success. I'm reminded of the much used household product WD-40 that reputedly got it's name due to the forty attempts that were required to perfect the product. Most boxers will confess that they don't fear being knocked down. What they fear most is the lack of ability to get up.
We are all here shooting for the same goal "online success". Some folks are already experts in the industry while many of us are creeping, attempting to stand or taking baby steps. Whatever your level of expertise, let's focus on the target as this will assist us in reaching our goals.
"The winners in life think constantly in terms of I can, I will, and I am.
Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts on what they
should have or would have done, or what they can't do".

This is a really nice post! Having raised or helped to raise quite a few children the analogy of a child learning to walk is one I have shared and I think it helps a lot of people! I too did not know that about
WD-40, that is cool! :)
Thanks Claud, I really needed a moment of kick me in the butt to even get out of bed and find the coffee mug. I appreciate your words...they are very motivating. Janith
