congratulations!!! Welcome aboard. Were you able to find your work again for your about me page?
It sort of depends? Things are never lost forever at WA. Look through History on your browser or do a search with the first few words of your content. If you didn't actually push 'delete' there is a high probability you piece is still floating around.

Hi; Who knows about this?
I'm in Course 1; Lesson 7-SiteContent section and filling in "About Me" fields. I accidently closed the window/lost the screen. Did I lose my work? If not, how do I resume/continue where I left off?
(Luckily I saved my work in a doc offline, so can simply cut & paste.)
Site Content usually auto-saves every few seconds, so unless you closed it down instantly after your last sentence or two it should still be there.
As Jeremy said, SiteContent has an automatic save feature. You should be able to go back in. Click on "unpublished and it should come up. Click on that and continue to write. You may have lost a sentence or two, but most of it should be there.
Clare at the bottom of the page there is a notice of when last it was saved. Click on that and it should show several saved editions of your work. Just click on the latest one.

Congratulations Clare.
