Wordpress 5.0 -The new editor - What the what?
The Wordpress 5.0 update installed the blocks editor. Whyyy??? When the old editor worked so well! I knew how to use it...with almost zero effort! And it worked with the WA content editor..Those darned blocks caused me to completely re-do my blog post. It took me twice as long to do a simple post. Now I have to learn something new. I cant stand those blocks!
Maybe this article will save the somebody the trauma I suffered....Lol

I CAN'T STAND IT! Not stable on Safari or Chrome. Very frustrating and time consuming to do simple tasks. I understand the bugs will be worked out as they go but right now I'm losing sales right now because of this.
There are other comments below stating you can still use the classic editor.
Go into the dashboard and choose the post or page you want to make changes to - hover under the article title and an option will appear that will allow you use the classic editor as well.
WordPress has become so large - almost too large for any change to be considered simple but the Gutenberg editor is not difficult - just different.
Hang in there - don't give up! You'll get this!

I had the same trouble, I didn't want to spend my day to learn something new, I asked my husband to help, he's trying to figure out for me, I need to work on my writing, anyway thank you for the link.

Thanks for sharing, I will sure use the cheat sheet too at least till I get more comfortable with the new editor.
you have moved back from unconscious competence (how you drive a car without thinking about every movement) to conscious competence (how you drove a car just after you passed the test), give it time
You still can use the old classic editor if you want.

I find Gutenberg very cumbersome, and I'm back to using the Classic Editor (which I find very intuitive and efficient).
