The Results Are In For Newspaper/Magazine Columns

Firstly, thank you very much for everyone's participation with this survey, it really is greatly appreciated :-) Just apologies that the results were delayed for this one.


I will be providing the results for the Piggyback Mailings idea, and the Radio Ads idea, before the end of 2020.

So then, for Newspaper/Magazine Columns, there were 12 members who replied, but only 4 responded, with the results below.


Do You Use Newspaper/Magazine Columns For Your Offline Business?

25% of members who responded do not have an offline business, of the 75% who do, 100% do not use Newspaper/Magazine Columns.

As there were no members using Newspaper/Magazine Columns for their offline business, there is no data as to how effective this method is.

Of the 100% of members who do not use Newspaper/Magazine Columns for their offline business, 33% of them are considering using them in the future.


Do You Use Newspaper/Magazine Columns For Your Online Business?

All members who responded have an online business, of which 75% do not use Newspaper/Magazine Columns.

Of the 25% of members who do use Newspaper/Magazine Columns for their online business, 100% feel that they are effective.

100% of all the members who responded will not be considering to use Newspaper/Magazine Columns for their online business.

Of all the members who responded, 75% feel that Newspaper/Magazine Columns are not relevant today!

Wow...how did I miss this one!
If you don't mind, I'd like to offer a comment.
Magazine columns are best suited for desktop viewing. On mobile phones, you only see the single column version. I can't imagine trying to read a two-column page on a phone.
That being said, not having read your first post about the use of magazine columns, I don't know whether any other parameters were discussed...
Magazine layout is a whole different design.
