Soar Like Eagles!
Helen Keller has been one of my heroes since I was a child!
She accomplished so very much in life, more then many people who have both their sight and hearing!
Every member that has come here to WA has come here with a desire to soar! So I wanted to share this quote of hers!
I am hoping we are all having a Blessed Sunday and taking time for our day of rest and hopefully taking time with the Ones who are most important to our lives!
You who have read my posts know that the Eagle is special to me because the Eagle represents Father!
But do you know what the number one cause of death is for Eagles?
Drowning! You see when the Eagle goes fishing and dives to grab its catch, once it wraps its talons around the fish the Eagle's talons lock!
If the fish is large enough and strong enough to pull the Eagle under, it drowns.
The Eagle who flies away, once it has alighted at its resting place with its fresh catch, will pry its talons free with its beak!
I cherish the Love of such a Father and knowing His embrace, that is represented in the Eagle as an embrace that never lets go! I hope you know such Love!
Let's prepare today as we rest and hopefully are blessed with Love, to never creep and

Beautiful, Christa! I have always had 3 or 4 eagle pictures/sculptures around my desk.
You possess such a wealth of knowledge Christa, as I said before I learn something new every time I read you're posts. I think Eagles are so beautiful, but I never knew that drowning was their main cause of death and that their talons lock. Thank you for sharing Christa and I hope you had a blessed day:)

Yes He is with us always, though we are human and He understands that sometimes we feel the need for a touch or a word as sometimes the loneliness we feel as we are away from others gets louder then His voice!
