Just had a Scary Shock!

Hi again Everyone

I just tried to log in to my main website, and had the biggest shock! I got the message that my domain had expired!! Today in fact!

I really thought that I had it on Auto renewal. I wrote a blog fairly recently warning about the angers of not having auto renewal, and now it had happened again.

I immediately went to my list of domains in WA, and found to my relief that I cvouls renew it there! Of course I did so, and put it on auto renewal - I really am not making that mistake again!! At least this time I discovered my mistake straight way!!

I stil can't access it yet, and I have asked Support how long I will have to wait, but I have confidence that it will be OK now.

So once again, I urge you all to check that you do have your domains on auto renewal if you don't want to lose them. When I think of the prospect os using all my hard work - well, it really doesn't bear thinking about!!

So the best of luck to all of you, keep your websites safe and updated and renewed!!

I nearly made that mistake late last year too, but I luckily caught it in time thanks to an email sent from WA. Glad you were able to get it renewed!

Hi Chrissy, yes it makes sense, time seems to fly by so quickly it is easy to lose track of your renewal date, better to Auto-renew, Best Alan
